  1. If you are indeed the vendor, do you think anyone will engage u after reading? Better off that u delete the post.
  2. Let's give u the benefit of doubt. So tell us in what way the service is good? The price is good? Don't flood the forum with posts that will not benefit anyone but the vendor. These days salesman ain't creative....
  3. You start paying road tax the day seller registers your car, does not matter if you pick up the keys or not. The maintenance fee contributes to the common area. you can still enjoy the Gym, Parking, Pool, Function Room, BBQ even your unit have defects. It is your choice to move in or not. So long the roof doesn't cave in, it is logically speaking "Worthy Condition". and by the way, I believe your lawyers are holding the "15% Payment upon Certificate of Statutory Completion", so as to say, you are not paying the full price but yet you get to move in upon TOP. If I were you, I won't niaw with developer over that few hundred bucks, knowing that the defects is "major", get it all rectified properly.
  4. Maintenance fees is for common area.... What is there to sue ?
  5. Pelect is right, the switch needs a neutral wire which normally don't exist in our local switches. It is going to be a mess cutting groove lines on the wall tapping neutral from the nearest power sockets.
  6. new house, resale house? HDB, condo, landed? let us know more to help u.
  7. be kind enough to post a picture for others to help you answer to your question.

    Cornices

Go for the simplest 45 degrees design, it is evergreen. But make sure your cornice covers your wardrobe as well.
  9. Meng Wee, in what ways the customer service was good to you which will benefit forumers? 10 out of 10 newbies always say their contractors good. and by the way, solid wood decking is no fashion already, all using polydeck composites, even NUS also uses them,
  10. Sometimes cheap pricing attracts us. But never knew the end result will be such a disaster.. Just move on..
  11. Looks like Brenda has nothing to post but just curtains ......all post mentioning Freddie as trustworthy .. Perhaps your good relation with Freddie can help Anthony to resolve the "misunderstanding"
  12. I have been buying stuffs from you guys over the past 6 years, from Kwiksets, Baldwin, Valli & Valli, Gainsbrough, The initial experience was good, really good, no doubt about it. Lately, I found some of your stocks were rather old, slightly tarnish and one piece have rust stain at the joint. something needs to be done to regain our trust in you.
  13. I got my Starmex inverters for $2k from All Best, mine include dismantle but reuse piping.
  14. This is my bathroom Some toiletries are bought from leading supplier to Hotels.
  15. Hotels rooms seems to have the best design that captures our hearts and makes us keep wanting to go back. So I have try to renovate my bedroom close to hotel standard, Here is some pics to share. As I stepped out of my bathroom, that's my 2 wardrobes with a bench and the over powered 18,000 BTU aircon. My dual layer motorised roller blinds My bed is facing the window, so I did a divider to block the neighbors from looking over, and I can open up the windows for fresh air. I wanted to placed a dresser pn the back of the divider but wife says hold on first. The divider acts as a storage for my worn jackets, no more throwing around the house, it also has a ventilation panel. Plenty of storage. To quench our thirst, a warm water dispensing station.
  16. I will direct u to an Sansei Singapore. They have quite a fair bit of expensive quality stuffs.
  17. Prices varies, if u have no clues about WC, best to engage a plumber and let them handle for u (including purchases)
  18. Most importantly u must like the products. Cheap no use. I frequent SBH for all my renos. The contractors do get a cut from the displayed price, so u can try to get some savings from the contractor. Not all contractors are honest to tell u all these.
  19. It is kind of rude to end a discussion without saying thanks.
  20. Ur contractor is right. Your shower kerb should be slopping towards the shower area, so water will flow inwards
