Hi brobear Wow. Your comments on Roy are about the worst that I have seen thus far in all 6 pages on "Inzen". No offense but are you sure you are talking about the same Roy Tan? Roy is currently doing up my place at Punggol and the reno is more or less completed. While he and his work are certainly not perfect, me and my wife are pretty happy with what he have done for us thus far. For anything that we are not satisfied with, he always try his best to sort it out without giving any lame excuses. For example, on Sunday (6th) we spotted a tiny imperfection on our kitchen glass backsplash and as usual we stick a yellow memo pad on it. Our intention was only to ask him if it can be cleaned or wiped off or even sprayed over. As it was a pretty small flaw at the corner, I was already prepared to live with it. However, before we can meet up with him on site to discuss today, he already got his glass work supplier to remove the entire glass backsplash when we reach our place. If anyone think that I am Roy in disguise, pls feel free to email me (kevinlimcs@gmail.com) or give me a ring (9750 3938) I will be more than happy to show you my place. I am not as active here as I am in punggol forum. Pictures of my place can be found in the 'Treelodge' Reno Pictures thread. Although I intend to start my T-Blog here real soon. Hopefully I dun procrestinate !!! Just sharing my experience. Peace. cheers -

I find it a bit on the high side (based on the quotations that I have seen on various forums) also, there seems to be a lack of clarity on many of the items.. for example; the kitchen cabinet does not say how many ft (is the measurement already done?) the kitchen table top also did not say what material (granite, solid surface or quartz) and also how many ft again. there maybe costly variation order if these are not spelt out clearly my 2 cents

without any breakdown for each item... it is pretty hard to comment

thats quite bad.... it will take some time to clear your defects.. BSC still have not settle my stratched MBR toilet door me a treelodger too

Glass Backplash At Kitchen - Will You Accept This Kind Of Workmanship?
Dante replied to user123's topic in RENOVATION WORKS
user123 This is crappy work standards. Do not accept it. -
Please note that such "packages" are not at all realistic. ID/Contractors that advertise such 9k to 12k "packages" use it as bait to hook potential customer... once you sit down with them and discuss in details... you will realise that many many stuff are not included... also... the items listed are usually in shortfall... its only upon actual site measurement that the cost will creep up. of course.. if you can stand what these packages provide and withstand the pressure to top-up to make it complete... then go ahead and sign up. when I went to 1 of the contractor's showflat to look look see see (he was trying to sign me up), I ask how much the reno cost... he very reluctantly let slip that its about 28 to 30 K. guess what the his company's brochure say the package cost for a 4room premium BTO?..... $12,888. after doing all my research... i would say that (DEPENDING on what you want) a 4rm premium BTO reno will cost about 18K onwards to infinite

9 out of 10 times when a sales person say that price will increase after XX day, they are bluffing. nothing more than pressure tactics. try not to fall for it

Choices Of Ids
Dante replied to endlssorrow's topic in Renovation Contractors, Interior Designers & Suppliers Reviews
unfortunately there are no shortcuts to looking for a ID/Contractor for reno work. 1) Do all your desktop homework (e.g research online and forums / ask around) for a shortlist 2) Do the actual leg work of interacting with the shortlisted ID/contractor and make your OWN judgement 3) Repeat step 1 and 2 until you THINK you found the right ID/Contractor who you are going to hand your house reno work to. for many people it is a hit and miss affair -
Hi Rummi sry for the late reply... to many thread to monitor I bought it @ Rattan Pacific @ IMM for $2400

Sorry to hear abt your situation. I am curious... Wat made u engage him in the very first place? As for me, I am glad tat my Reno process thus far is going very well. Minor hiccup here n there but nothing major
