  6. out of curiousity, are you going to be those who buy a lot of kitchen gadgets? those stuff might take out counter space.. i've got "loads" of kitchen gadgets.. i.e. airfryer, kitchen mixer.. etc etc. those might need a lot more plug points.

  15. Just FYI, marble = my husband. actually if we (or rather me) aren't fussy and OK with the old fashion stuff.. we could have saved a bunch of $$$ as the condition of the place is really good. doesn't seem like it is 25+ yrs old. seems like 10+ instead. HOWEVER, we choose an EM with the intention of hacking away ALL (or most) of the flooring and what-nots for long term stay. this was the ONLY unit we saw.. and decided to really get it as it really fit all our criteria while looking for a place. what was intended to be a long hunt.... turned out to be a really really really short one.
  16. As our family grows.. We decided we needed more space! So when we chanced upon this EM, we decided to "GRAB" as it was really like our dream home... It was in original condition (25+ yrs ago kind of reno), 2nd highest unit in the block, corner and the plus point - can buy recess area!!! Here's our floor plan for starters..
  17. Quite ok then. They are really good and efficient. But if your new place not on lift floor.. pls be prepared to pay!
  18. $280 is only for ONE lorry load trip. Additional locations is $30 Mine added up to be quite costly.

  21. You can downgrade and still get a 2nd HDB loan since 2010. Anyway, HDB's valuation is to extract out $$ from your CPF, there is no qualms for banks to offer you the market rate even if it's 50k above HDB's valuation. You can always try calling the banks to try.
  22. really like ur marble floor after polishing.. did u use subway tiles for your common toilet?? (p.s. paiseh.. i'm just an EM lover stalking renotalk..)
  23. really like your reno! what's the material for the beam (where you hang ur lightings) over the bar counter? is it laminated wood?
