Haaa... cute la! the top left picture was taken when he was a kitten? Looks small! Thanks for the compliments! Maomao and the plants are coexisting quite well now.. No more biting of leaves, at the beginning she did bite a few leaves and pulled out a few small bits of cactus but now its all good. Think she likes having the plants around too.. yay to that..

Hmm, I would also say that having the top wall hung cabinets in the kitchen help a lot. Most people will end up needing the storage space.. Wifey and I initially didn't want it but thought it through and decided to have them, right now having moved in, we can't imagine how it would have been having to live without those cabinets. All the food, pots n pans, etc etc etc..

Hehe.. Are your kitties from the same litter? Can see that they have the same ears and eye color.. My **** cat is a loner, would love to have more cats in the house like you..

Thanks frigginfuchsia I think both maomao and bailey had a real tough time adapting to the new surroundings.. My silly cat was transported to the new house in a cardboard box and took a whole hour before she actually decided to come out of the box and take a walk around.. After which she slunk around like a lizard and went for the darkest and nearest corner, refused to come out.. She also refused to drink from a new water bowl.. hahaa.. we had to change it back to the old one.. dang cat.. good to know both cats are comfortable in their new surroundings and both our places are not haunted! Cheers to that!

Maomao took a long time to adapt, didn't eat for a full 24hrs.. Went into hiding and slunked around the house with her belly dang near the ground. Now queen of the house though. Haha. Haha! Its the look we had in mind when we chose the Forest Green Tiles.. Glad it worked out and that it doesn't only look nice to us. Hahaa... Quite reassuring, thanks.. If you think its relaxing, wait till you sit on the floor and look at the maomao.. She's sleepy most of the time and tends to make people drowsy as well.. Hahahaa.. Add a mao to your family! About the toilet floor tiling gradient, you should just make it clear in no uncertain terms to your ID that you will do a water test after the tiling. If the water doesn't flow properly into the drainage, you'll ask for re-tiling, at his cost. This is a basic requirement. If you're looking for paintings to add that dash of color, maybe you could drop by Orchard Ion lv 4, there's a gift shop there called "The Wright Gift" that stocks prints of art pieces, could just buy 1 and get a frame from Ikea or custom make a frame. Harlows again! We've finally moved in and sorted things out. Moving is a freaking pain. To everyone out there who hasn't moved, please, use movers. I nearly died trying to move everything myself. We still need to get a few more cushions, wifey's books aren't fully here yet and the bookshelf is still in a mess.. However, here's what we see everyday.. Our dining table with 2 potted plants and a cat. We need to vacuum the table cloth often because maomao likes to lounge around on it.. Our living room area, got the big plant from Far East Flora, its called a China Doll.. hehe.. Another view of the living room, with the windows in view.. Maomao and a "tie shu" (name of the plant).. Maomao on the suar wood table, she tries now and then to bite the leaves.. Haha.. Thanks for looking!

We actually managed to get a small soak.. Hahaa.. We bought a kiddy blow up pool which could fit in the shower area.. Just 30cm high though.. Wah, like a certain MP, I also don't know what to say. You're too kind with your words, we just have a comfortable cosy place, no way its a one of a kind place.. Thank you.. Thanks for the 3 v's! Hahaa.. Everything has come along nicely, tiles and the furniture.. I think we got lucky as we didn't really plan much.. Here's hoping your reno will have as much luck! Read your blog with great interest because of the rare layout you have. Wifey and I looked at your floorplan and tried to think of how we'd have done it, one idea we had was to tile the opened up dining area using the living room tiles. This is to separate the kitchen area from the dining and make the living area look larger.. Food for thought! Haha..

Hey bro, the ceiling fan is supposed to be flush with the ceiling. At least that's the case for my Elmark, I was around when the guy was installing it. Its actually just a cap cover, can be adjusted, unless yours is different, take a long rod or ladder and tap it a bit? I think it should be hollow and adjustable, bug your ID about it. Need to cut the electrical wire casing a bit more and fit the fan properly. Should be minimal work, 10 minutes or so.

Better safe than sorry! I try to keep my windows closed when the cat is unsupervised.. Never know whats going on in their catty minds.. My maomao tried to climb up the walls to my kitchen window when we were sleeping and left claw marks on the tiles..

Long time no come by... Waaah.. Be careful with the floors, I have a tile that also states no acid washing.. Difficult to clean if you get stuff like grout/cement all over it. We actually also shortlisted your MBR toilet wall tile before we finally decided on the theme and look of our place. Saw 2 versions of it in Soon Bee Huat, one from Italy and another from China.. Very nice leh.. We like the idea of going full retard and making it interesting!
