  3. Jonsmom, hope you have made the right choice. I agree with you that the chemistry between u and ID is very impt. No matter what, whether it is ID or contractor, they need to make sure they meet baseline profit. ID are able to offer more value added services like 3d design, bring u to choose tiles, bathroom items& lightings....

  7. DAY 21 (6Aug) Updates Plastering of wall and ceiling has begun The new wall that separates the kitchen from the yard.... new bin installed. Problem with kitchen sink ID told me that the kitchen sink that we purchase cannot fit in due to the protuding pipes. The pipes were not shown in the plan. He suggested to change to a smaller sink, but we insisted that we still prefer the double sink. So he would need to extend the cabinet space to extend beyond the pipe.
  8. i prefer Design # 4 with L-shape layout. ... Make the room more spacious. #1 - like classroom layout #2 - table too narrow, obstruction when need to open/ close window #3 - make room look small & cramp.
  9. Thx a lot! One thing is commendable, the workmanship is quite good. The workers are skilful and hardworking.
  10. Thx;) u are right.... Many unforeseen circumstances encountered. The big pipes were not shown in the plan,.... This can cause obstruction. Plastering and tiling works were obstructed by electrical casing and also no PUB. Gas line.
  11. Thx,.., I hope things will be good until the end...... I didn't know reno can be so stressful lor.

  19. Hi Modern, your electrical cost of 1.8k - is it using the existing cables or does it involve partial rewiring? For me, I m keeping the 2nd level untouched and rewiring only for 1st level.
