Just got the philips HTS6600...sound system is good....best of all, it looks slick without so many speakers and wirings...simply love the design...

$29 really very good deal....saw this exact same rack at giants...costs 89+ So muich difference! from the looks of it, quite sturdy....probably dropping by toa payoh later...hopefully still got stock...

Already checked out Ikea and Robinsons...unfortunately, they don't have the size that I want....all pretty small....i'm looking for quite a big vase...

Looking for a rectangular clear glass vase with 60cm in width and probaby about 45cm in height. Searched for many places but couldn't find any. Anyone knows where to get such vases? Gam sia in advance!!

Ya lor...although we already anticipated the things they were gonna do or say, we still cried..izit cry of relief that he finally proposed and that I no longer have to live with the thought of me zi dong song shang men?!? haha...I thought I won't cry too, in the end also bawled like baby....the waitress came over with a toilet roll in one hand and a few pieces of serviettes on the other and asked me which i prefer...of course take serviettes lah.....go high class restaurant even if cry also must use their serviettes to wipe tears, what for use toilet paper!?! Chey.....but i know the waitress joking lah...haha..

Haha Cherlyn, you very cute sia.... My hubby actually dragged the proposal for very long after we applied flat....can u imagine he proposed 4 months later after we applied for flat?!? Faintz....then I was like keep waiting for him to propose but nvr happen kind...so I always felt like I've tied a ribbon on myself and knock on his doorstep kind u know? So last year approaching christmas, he told me he's bringing me to a special place...so I already aga aga know he's going to propose already lah....haiz...he very bad at giving surprises one.... So on christmas eve, he brought me to this italian restaurant at keppel club...when we entered the restaurant, the waiter directed us to a private corner and pulled out the chair for me...i was facing a big projector screen so i know liao lah...anyway, the waiter told me that before we begin our dinner, he had something to show us...then he showed an animation clip that my dear hubby did (or rather paid someone to do it) showing the day we first met and the time that we almost broke up...very touching....the clip ended with "Will you marry me?" flashed on the screen....strangely, even though I somehow can predict the ending already, I still cried....he then knelt down with a bouquet of flowers and a ring and popped the question again...I nodded my head but he refused to stand up until I said yes....so needless to say, I said yes (of course lah, flat applied already can say no meh?!? )

My hubby did that too....sob sob....that's the tactic of most singaporeans guys....how unromantic...but he did follow up with a proper proposal after that....which i think lost its meaning le... But got propose better than no propose lah...haiz...

My mum likes Bengawan Solo's traditional mooncakes...personally, i find it not bad....skin not too hard or too dry....and not too thick too...texture just nice...best of all, it's a whole lot cheaper than what those hotels are offering!
