Hi Defelio mine is using real bricks just that not those thick ones because the original size of the bricks are not approved by HDB.. I guess is the weight wise.. Thickness is around half the original size.. Btw just curious if u mind letting me know how much u spent on ur furnishing so far? And the wooden false ceiling is it exp? Hehe..

Haha no mine is red brick natural colour instead.. Ic.. Haha but so far I seen the rest of the t-blogs only urs I really think is unique and different from others.. I will hang around here from now haha..

Jus happen to saw ur t-blog I love it alot too because somehow we have the same concept for our house and we have some similar concept as i am going wooden & natural colour like my wooden blinds same colour, dining chairs except mine is black & bricks just that mine is raw.. Will camp on ur thread.. Btw how come u choose glossy tiles instead of using matt tiles? Matt tiles will suit ur living room better actually in my opinions..

My dining table just came 3 days back.. so far the delivery date is on time and i call a couple of days earlier to bring forward 1 day of delivery and they said no issue on that and delivery day itself was smooth although found 1 not really visible scratch on the table leg itself and they try to darken the mark so i am ok with that as i know nothing is 100% perfect at least 95% i am ok with that..

Laminate flooring is so call clipping to join together the joints like Douglas said.. There are water resistant boards too so far my designer nv told me to be careful on water too..

Hi Zondar I jus installed custom made wooden blinds but is costly but turn out really very nice.. But 1 thing is really very heavy as I choose the better quality.. Before u buy compare the different quality 1st..

Hi actually is quite common la in hdb even in new flats.. My wall height also not straight so affecting the measurement of my wooden blind by a few cm..

Btw just out of curiosity i wonder anyone here that did reno with ID, Have they mention based on the design and concept they done up and if u follow closely to the furnishing u have a chance to be put up on the magazine like home & decor etc for feature and reviews on your house because its something different from the rest & unique..

Personally my house my living use tiles but no skirting and room i use laminated skirting..

Umm I have install the Blum on all my kitchen cabinet & shoe racks.. Roughly cost me $200+ total.. I can't rem how much they cost for a single hinge & thread..
