relax.. nothing to do with patrick. i did not change the windows. the windows (in mbr), just suddenly cannot open. my and my hubby suspect is the side lock (the lock that is at the side of the window, top & bottom track), which is causing the problem. somemore, suay suay is towards end of reno. decided to put this 1 side and settle the major things 1st. now come to think of it, is quite serious. haiz..

ai yo.. he recify before and say better to ask window experts to take a look.. Argh! i dunno why suddenly cannot open. Tried to push open also cannot. Scare the windows fall off, if use too much strenght.

thanks ralph. my contractor is pactrick and ah keong from ho bee. Ah keong (the carpenter) suggested the re-skining part. Initally, I only wanted to change the sliding door. Thumbs up for him. I guess have to measure the cost. Sometime tearing down is cheaper than re-skining. Of course have to get contractors to quote you the pricing. I also feel it worth it, considering the size. Previously, the wardrobe silding door is heavy, partly due to the full length mirror.

thanks. The wardrobe is like this previously (left by previous owner): I ask my contractor to do a re-skining (at the borders) and change the sliding door. Damage is $1300k. the sliding is very smooth. workmanship is good also. I very satisfied with my contractor's job. I consider still worth rather than tearing down and rebuild the wardrobe.

I feel nothing wrong for wife earning more than hubby. Singapore still have conservative minds. Husband must earn more than wife. Husband must pay for everything. It is very common now for wife has higher earning power than husband. Who earns more, helps to pay more. Anyway, both husband and wife should helps each other to relieve financial burden. Both should work together to work out a better life ahead.

meaning must spend more money on removing it and do a L-Box mah.. haha.. Anyway, the way i placed my furnitures not really suitable for L-box. hehe.. Me and my hubby are fan person also. Aircon makes my skin dry.

Just expired, about 1 week ago. I don't think can call and extend right? If yes, everyone starts calling. I also like ikea ones also. But since got vouchers just spend it first. Although is pretty expensive. Heng got 10%-20% discount here and there. Clean up your house first.. Must at least clean 2-3 rounds de. Until now I am still cleaning up.

Had a tiring weekend... Yesterday went to Taka and Robinson to buy some bowls and plates, using vouchers. hehe.. Total of $80 vouchers plus $20 cash. There are my first GSS buys... Sad thing to say.. my CC points expired! Argh! should have monitored the expiry dates. Now unable to exchange for more vouchers. Finally, got my computer table fixed plus change of old light bulbs. Feeling tired.. like got never ending things to do.

my ti lams are those cost around 20 bucks, those children sleep ones, single type. Have to buy 2. Sleep on the floor first. hehe. Next year, then i will get a gd brand new mattress, with a nice bed frame together with the side tables. I hope to get either sealy or kingkoil mattress.

my ti lam is those cheapo kind sold at pasa malam.. next yr then get a good one for my customary wedding. i am also going over there later, to get ready some stuff, later having steamboat with my parents.. heh~
