Does it matter? What is important is which school is more suitable for your child. If you child cannot take stress, it will be suicidal if you send your kid to a school with 100!! FYI, I stay less than 5mins from Nan Chiau (I heard that it is a good school). But I choose to register him to SengKang Primary.

My unit is done up by Henry. I must admit he is not the cheapest. But I must say his response is good. When he commit a time to finish the task, he will do it (so far he never fail me lah) For eg. My washing machine base is done wrongly. I told him on Tuesday and he came to inspect the same day. I told him I want it to be fix by Friday. On Friday evening, his workers is fixing it and it was done pretty nicely. If you want him to do your kitchen cabinet, I would advice you to get your sink, hob, hood and other accessories for his carpenter for him to measure. Like that if carpenter will have no excuse if he mess up the measurement.

This is how I feel. So maybe I am a bit naive. Sometimes when you buy something, you pay for what you like. In this case, if you will not use it as an investment and both of you like the unit, that it is fine. But if you want to use it as an investment property, then I would advice you not to get it. For investment, you will really need to get prime area. You see it as a 360k flat. But how do you feel about the value of the flat? Is it worth more than what you pay for? It's up to you to decide.

Sim Wing Liang rack really solid. My brother is those bolts and nuts type. He put too much weight on it until I can see his rack start to cave in.

In 1988, my father bought a TV console from Novena. When the men delivered, the condition os the console is so bad that no way we can accept it. We reject the goods but the delivery man leave it at our place. The next day, the boss (Novena is still not so big then) came to take a look. He is also shock on the condition. The console was eventually replaced. Lesson learn. Big co. so what. It all boils down to personal experience.

I am thinking of joining also. But there is another car sharing co. call cityspeed. The good thing is that they have minivan for rental. But NTUC don't have.

Sometimes it is quite difficult ot catch a cab in SengKang. Reason is unlike town like Tampines, SengKang has no industrial area. Some taxi driver hear that we want to go SengKang, they also don;t want to come because they fear that they can't get passenger easily. So you will see a lot of phone booking here. But, I notice that it is slightly easier to get a cab along punggol road, which is just in front of Rivervale Plaza. But all in all, it all depends on luck.
