Clover, suggest you follow this method to find a more accurate direction: http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18302 and then post your area googe earth screen shot here I may help you to check and confirm(I feel more comfortable to see by my eyes that the direction is accurately measured).

After going through many posts, I think a separate on this will be useful to all. Taking accurate direction is the first step, then the next thing is your accurate floor plan, third is your calculation of house center. Believe me, no fengshui master can do these better than secondary school students. May I request Administrator to "pinned" this post on top. You can also use Google Earth.

show one example, the owner won 4D many times when staying in this house, now she is no more staying there, I am wondering whether the new owner also have the same luck, in fact, all the units at upper and lower floors should be able to get good fengshui is they have same arrangement at those colour sectors. Can someone suggest a way how to find out the situation of those units, outsider cannot just go and us the owners whether they won 4D right? Please note the 2 Yellow sectors are not part of the above recommended A,B,C,D sectors, but they are also important sectors, I will tell more if I can receive many real cases from you all. If you know someone win 4D/TOTO frequently or have very good luck, you should try to find out get their house floor plan and post it here for discussion, not easy to find this type of peoples, in other words, not easy to get good fengshui. if fengshui masters themselves can have good fengshui and can win 4D many times then there is no more fengshui masters liao. In other words, if you believe in fengshui I am afraid you have to do some hard works to find out yourself. It is not a matter of spending how much money to get good fengshui masters. you have to personally see with your eyes many repeatable cases to gain confident and know which is workable.

If you do not have street directory, you can use Google Earth, it has every houses and blocks, there is also a "compass" on it, you can take reference from it.

your good observation and experience made you wise. a good house will continue to be good as long as there is no change inside and outside. but then people luck will change, when you are in bad luck you will try thousand reasons to shift out of good house.

wah! all buildings are 辰，戌，丑，未 directions, these 4 directions are not easy to make fengshui selection. have to see each unit detailed floor plan, quite troublesome to go through all, which unit do you prefer?

I recommend only this new book. a very special book different from all others, not selling in Singapore, have to order directly from the china author. about S$100, if many want to buy can group together to bargain for discount. you should be able to find the author contact using google search.

fengshui in chinese is called "小道“。 yokine9a said the one is ”大道“。

interesting case, do you get any good or bad happening when you stay in the house having toitel at the center? I think the toilet flushing hole location is the more important, if it is at the correct location then you can still have good luck (except right in the geometrical center of the house). I see you still can come here to post, I guess your toilet flushing hole is not at the center.

you do not need a compass, street directory has very accurate house/block direction, google map also have.

to me, wall direction is the more important. every moment you are inside the house you are affecting by all the walls much much more than door, you only use door for a few moments, but location of door is important if you leave your door open, sometimes it is just a common sense, many fengshui masters may tell you otherwise because after they got their fengshui sense they lost their common sense.

if there are many repeatable cases and can be shown to everyone to prove, then it is at least experiemental science.

stove location is more important.

this is a very difficult case, because the two walls are not parallel, there are two facing directions, where your stove is should depend on your house facing direction.

Actually, this is the main problem, your like and don't like follow your luck, hundred fengshui masters can tell you thousands things, but eventually your choice is depend on your own luck. So, can you change your luck by fengshui, I thnk it is quite difficult if not impossible.

your main door is more important. if you have floor plan and tell me which block I see whether I know how to adjust your fengshui.

By the way, actually it is not restricted to just North and South facing, if your house facing is within one of those A, B, C, D sector, the other 3 sectors should be door, windows, stove, fish-tank, "moving" and "water" items. As you can see, simple math, in 360 degree, each sector is 7.5 degree, total there are 48 sectors, the master just told me these 8 sectors.

Long time did not visit this forum, surprising to see so many Singaporeans interested in fengshui, don't know good or bad sign. After so many years of searching for good fengshui methods, recently I met a fengshui master from China, Chen Zheng Ru, he asked me to try out one simple method for the North or South facing house. I used his method to study a relative house that I know the relative won 4D many times. Surprisingly my relative house met his method perfectly. I did not do any thing to the house, just that my relative is so lucky. See picture below, if your house facing happen to be North (0 to 7.5 degree) or South (180 to 187.5 degree), then if your main door, stove, open windows, fish-tank, or other "moving" or "water" items are allocated within Sector B, C, D, then you are very lucky. Singapore have a lot of such facing houses.
