Hi, welcome to the 3-roomer club! $339k is a great price for Clementi! We got ours last year at Bukit Batok for $330k so the prices have definitely soften over the year! Clementi is a good place!

Hi, small breeds are HDB approved which I think should not weight over 15 kg. 1 dog per house only. Golden retrievers are unfortunately not approved...- 110 replies

Hi rain, thanks for sharing! Yes we have moved on, we just celebrated our first year wedding anniversary yesterday 😍 And we are still inviting friends over for house parties. Nothing beats our own nest right? And yes you are right also. We confirmed that those with positive experiences with Alan had higher budget than us 😣 but that doesn't warrant poorer service given to poorer folks like us, right? Anyways hope all is well with you and your own nest 😄 -

Hi Songz, yes it is much neater than before but there's room for improvement. It is not easy to keep stuff neat after a year of stay. Need to declutter soon 😁 The treadmill was 2nd hand and given by a friend. Been put to good use! My personal gym at home with the ceiling fan or aircon on plus my own favourite music blasting! -

Today marks the 1st year anniversary at our house... So let's call this our house-sary or home-sary ☺️ Living here in the nest we have built is nothing but pure happiness. Bitter sweet at times cos now and then, we discover things breaking apart due to the poor renovation materials used (our storeroom door knob jammed on its own and we almost had to tear the door down!) Anyways we also revamped our study room! Hi, not sure if I understood PTopaz's question correctly. We bought our TB items ourselves, negotiated with the sellers on the exact colours, dimensions etc and paid using a DBS credit card. Of course the exchange rate wasn't superb but it was convenient. And then we got all the sellers to ship to Amcon. A list of the items purchased, exact specs, prices and seller details were given to Amcon. We had control over the buying process but this required close monitoring & coordination with Amcon. They were really nice in allowing us to store for free at both their China and Singapore warehouse for a few weeks. The only downside is Amcon doesn't check the goods when they arrive at their china warehouse.

Hi Celtricia, thanks for your compliment! For the vodka cabinet, guess you are referring to this? Absolute Vodka collection by Makanology, on Flickr This is good old Ikea Billy cabinet, in orange which was last year's colour. We installed Ikea LED cabinet light (Fairly easy DIY job by my hub, Mr E). -

Songz, my heart almost sank when Mr E told me he tore my vintage table apart. He removed the laminate on the table top which I loved its woodgrains a lot... Original condition mah. But when I saw the end result of black & white, ok I shall forgive him, a bit lol -

Hi 11finger, that's so sweet, thanks! Saw that you are considering (or reconsidering) on laminate flooring. This is one of my regrets. Laminate flooring can't take knocks well... We have a couple of holes already and it is quite obvious! Also our dog likes to throw tantrum at us by peeing around occasionally so the poor flooring is very abused! If we had more time to renovate, I would go for the wood tiles for the living room & bedrooms! -

Having some problems popping up during renovation is common so long not big ones which will cause more $ to fly out! Enjoy the journey... Nothing beats watching your house transforming into your dream home! -

Hi 11finger, we also love our ceiling beams a lot. They are made from gypsum board and painted to create the effect. As you can see, we run the wires for the downlights inside each beam.
