I hope so too. I did check with Insani and they need a confirmation from DHL before making a refund which should be in the next days... Now, I hope my package is really lost in transit, if not, I can only hope someone buy the extra mixer and tap from me.... 😀. I should have bought the hansgrohe shower set with mixer and tap locally, cost around the same and made in Germany too... Someone got 1 year warranty...

Yeah. And the thing is I bought a kitchen mixer from there during my first purchase and it arrived promptly.. Like within 2 weeks, now, this is after 3 months. I waited for 1 month for the hand shower when the website stated as in stock and available. Sianz... Even the information in the website is not accurate...

Maybe is the transformer. I read in some other forumer blog that their bulb have way after a while and the reason for the problem is the transformer used for track light is not of the correct voltage.

Really angry to the max. Feel like flying over to Germany and knocked down Insani office... What a joke... Until today, I still don't have any information from them... I have given up waiting since I am expecting a new addition to our family next week... Now, I need to expedite my renovation and can't wait anymore. So I head down to buy a set of hansgrohe focus E2 shower set, with the tap and mixer in a bundle and a brushed nickel look alike bidel spray... All these cost me an additional 470 dollars 😡... Haiz, hopefully everything can be completed by next week....

The shipping rate for ice price is super scary... 199 euros for 15kg of stuff... Unless, you really buy lots of stuff from them. Otherwise, the saving is not substantial... Although I've price seems to have better review tho

Hi, I do agree with you that the Yale digital lock is fantastic... Almost 100% success rate... Even my MIL, FIL and my mum could use it after a few tries after the first round... As for Samsung, I was attracted by the price initially but my wifey insisted to get the Yale lock after she read xia xue blog... 😀

Hi June, The pipe shelves is really gorgeous..really hats off to your ID.. His 功夫 in DIY is at 100 levels.. Have been toying with the idea of tree bookshelves, normal bookshelves, pipe bookshelves and crate bookshelves. Until now, I have not decided to go for which design, mainly due to cost and complexity but I really want to have the pipe bookshelves after seeing many DIY online. It is really encouraging to see the successful design. Thank you for sharing!

Haiz... I am still waiting for DHL to ship the taps to me... The shipping is okay. It cost about 95 euro for 5 kg .... As for the size, I think is compatible as I have compared the pdf file to local shop that sells these taps and show the same dimension... I think problematic one is US taps... But be warn tho, buying from Insani is really depend on Heng Suay.... I bought twice and the first reach in 2 weeks but this current one takes ages to arrive.

Thanks! Turn out the green still matches the laminate of the cabinet 😅... Initially, I feel the color scheme is quite weird when the carpentry is not up. As for the room size, I think because I never put a lot of things, that's why it looks bigger. When we start to move in and with all the things lying around, it will not look so big 😊.

The kitchen cabinet door is a laminate from lamitek... As for the store room door, it is custom made by my ID, quoted together with the plaster board, so not sure of the price. I believe it is just a piece of wood with some design craved and pasted a laminate over. 😀

I have been very lazy to update my blog. The house is 95% done. The taps from Insani is still on the way, making me insane 😡.... I will wait until next week before buying the taps locally... It really depends on Heng suay as my first purchase with them arrive in 2 weeks but this purchase took me 3 months and the parts are not here yet. Luckily, I am not in a rush to move in. My wifey and I have started to shift in some of the items and to hang the stuff we bought earlier My childhood memory: Then, my wifey dragged me to BHG to shop for some bedroom accessories. She always wanted to remove the plastic cover from the mattress as it feels dirty. So, here we are at Akemi to buy the bed sheet set. She was sold immediately after touching the sample and had been silently "psycho" me to buy this set... It is really smooth and cool when we touched the sample. After buying the bed sheet set from Akemi, my wifey quickly remove the plastic cover for the mattress officially opening ceremony. This is the picture taken after her hard work. Luckily it matches the room color 😅... Another view from the door: Just feel like jumping onto the bed and roll around... Haha... Need to control, control.....😫 PS: Tips: to insert the quilt into the quilt cover, turn the quilt cover inside out, tie all the necessary knots and turn the cover in. This helps to save a lot of effort and time as compared to slowly insert the quilt into the cover. Taught by the sales auntie... We did it in 5 mins 😀

Hmmm.... I went with my republic during the recent IT show as they offered 6 months fee waiver for 2 years subscription. My opennet point was installed last week and my republic will complete the installation this week. I managed to get them to install the point near the window along the corridor and the white tubes are in between the window and the window grills. So, not so visible... 😅

I remember my mum mention that can use vinegar to produce some chemical that drive away cockroaches permanently. My house used to see cockroaches running around but recently, the cockroache seems to have disappeared...

Oh okay... Mine is just a simple plastic floor trap haha... Since I only overlay the existing toilet tiles... Might have venture into something fanciful if I know about it. My ID also told me that his team also always asking him "why do he go for concrete kitchen sink, I stopped building it 10 years ago", "why go for cement tiles, I have not laid them for the past 10 years" 😊 maybe you should take a picture of the floor trap after your toilet is done 😀

Oh, there's one more to add: OpenNet's termination point! Previous owner did not invite them in and now I need to pay $235 and how many cents? It was free! Why didn't they just accept it? Me too. The previous owner of my house didn't opt for the free opennet installation and now, I have to pay 235 for it. Sianz... Worse still, I delayed the installation due to laziness and almost destroy the aesthetics of the living room... My ID keep asking me to install the point but I delayed until the electrical work Has completed. Imagine a white tube run parallel my black piping = Disaster...

Hi Greg, Yessssss... Same same... The frosted glass do provide a warm yellow light. Although it seems to be a bit dim, it is enough for my small kitchen... Hopefully, it is just the holder problem and if not, the entire light has to be changed.... 😭
