  1. Thanks, OceanEleven! Sorry, I forgot that you had previously mentioned about having a gas heater for some years. This is a repurchase for you then (albeit in a different brand/model). I have been going back and forth between gas and the Bennington heater. I think I am leaning towards the Bennington. In any case, I think there may not be enough space for a gas heater in my service yard (-to-be), as I am planning on getting the gas dryer and have it mounted on that particular wall. So nice! I like your Tower too. This reminds me of my childhood home, where we had a slide-out breakfast counter. I’m afraid we did not have smooth runners/tracks, so ours was more of a “yank-out" than a “slide-out". It was still fun though!
  2. That’s very helpful. Thanks, Kstoh! This heater sounds good; I believe I shall be getting it. (I wish I could find post-renovation reviews of it though.)
  3. Does this mean a higher electricity consumption, and hence, bill, Kstoh?
  4. Congrats on the completion of your renovation, OceanEleven. Have you had a chance to use your heater since moving in? If you could share your thoughts on it, I should be very grateful. Would you repurchase a gas heater if you had to choose again?
  5. Congrats on your new home, Shir1307! Loving the view, and your boy! Pink walls sound fun. A couple more inspiration pics to add to your collection: (Images from Gubi, and Sandberg's Carl Collection of wallpapers.)
  6. How nice! Are these still working well for you, Harriette? I would be grateful if you could share your thoughts on the Actifry, and the sink. Thank you.
  7. Thank you! What a beautiful home you have. The dining lamp, coffee table, shoe cabinet (and its contents ), the dressing table . . . love, love, love. The colour palette looks great. Similar to the chair legs in your profile pic!
  8. They will return in about a month. My husband saw this on Photobucket: "If you do reach the bandwidth cap for the free account, your linked out photos will be replaced by the above Photobucket image that states "this image exceeds bandwidth". To have this removed you will need to upgrade to a Plus subscription, or wait for your bandwidth to reset for the month. Your bandwidth will reset to zero every month on the day you registered your account. You can find this date in your User Settings, under the Account tab."
  9. The pictures are gone, MintyVintage. I have been looking forward to your dressing table.
  10. Ah. That's very helpful. Thank you.
  11. Do you happen to know where aircon switches should be installed, OceanEleven? I'm afraid I have never heard of them. Is it one switch per aircon?
  12. Thank you. Would a 41.5kg woman be able to manage them, in your opinion?
  13. Could you PM me the price of your cast iron doors and panels, please, MintyVintage? Are the doors heavy?
  14. Congrats on your new home, Tampan!
  15. Yay, so glad for you! Everything looks good. Especially the toys! =D
  16. Nice. I also liked how you installed them in the earlier pic, when they were simply sitting on the floor, leaning sort of nonchalantly against the wall. I thought that was in keeping with your theme. It reminded me of design fairs, or even houses converted from hangars, garages, warehouses and factories.
  17. Congrats, Mr & Mrs Sim. Only six days to go!
  18. Thank you. I am keeping my fingers crossed! Have you moved in? If so, I wish you all the best settling into your new home.
  19. How nice! I especially like the handles.
  20. Thanks, Peanuts. I have received the PM. And congrats on reaching your goal! That is awesome of you. I am encouraged by your success.
