  4. My new additionals for the hse..(1 wardrobe in mbr is not enough, so thought of getting a ready made wardrobe or custom made. Went to see many ready made wardrobe. prices ranging from $600+ to $700+ for this size. Also comparing custom made prices, finally decided engage a contractor to do wardrobe. Quite acceptable price, worksmanship is good also) Here are the pics.. - The Floral wardrobe cost : $200/feet Actual length : 5.25feet cost for the wardrobe : $1050

  6. i almost wanted to buy a ready made wardrobe from vhive too, cost abt $700+ for a medium size one? in the end i did a custom made wardrobe at $1050. maybe can consider sourcing out for cheap custom made wardrobe also?

  8. hi smartfool, if i remember correctly, they sell chandellers. yup the address is correct but unit number i am not too sure. but that place is a whole stretch is of lighting house. u can go there happy shopping if u stay around west side
  9. so far i encountered, Chelsea lightings and Pantec's price are all v low. They straight away quote you the low price. Although low, still can go lowest. eg. they quote you $320. U can try to negotiate to $300. But cant go any further lower already. Compared to some shops in Balestier, they quote you $500, let you negotiate till $350. Actually you can buy it at $300 cheapest Chelsea and pantec are located at jurong. (think its chinese garden station, exact address i cant remember already). They are just beside each other. These 2 shops are quite popular at Singaporebrides and renotalk. There are abt 4 lighting shops at that stretch of shophouses. So its adequate for you to shop all 4 shops there. these are all my personal experience, sorry if i say wrongly or offended any balestier lighting shops. There are some good shops at balestier also

  13. hi lyn, i also not an expert..my mum's hse National brand microwave, cost her less than $100. Has been using it for almost 10years already. Its v simple and v easy to use. i will prefer this type of microwave nowadays microwave got alot of functions, so many different buttons to press, haha..too many also no good cos need alot of time to learn how to use

  17. yup yup! hehe thats the one "located on the side nearer to the escalator outside carrefour" they sell some $30+ clock also. those painted clock without cover.
  18. hehe ya the temperature works i bought 2 clocks actually. havent post up the pic of other clock. the shop is located at suntec level 2. Its just a "stall" along the level two, nearer towards carefour. i cant remember exactly where is it but if u got chance to go there, just comb thru all level 2 shops and u can find that stall Was told that they are there permanently. So they will no shift their stall
  19. hi lyn, i bought this steamer cum microwave at during the Akira sale at $200. i havent use the steamer yet leh,but i find it not easy to use for first timer. The microwave itself also not easy to use at the first time cos too many functions. if can chose again i rather buy simple type..

Like it cos the "seconds" needle is v v smooth. not the "tic tic tic" type. the clock also got temperature readings,hehe Hi prodigic, long time no see! i also didnt buy my clock after so many months of no clock in the living room. Finally found a clock that is reasonable in price and feel comfortable abt it. Previously was aiming at a clock at iwannagohome for long,love the clock so much but didnt buy cos it cost $86, over my budget already ya i actually hammer the 3pin nails onto the wall. i didnt drill it, though ideally drill will be better. Will ask someone to come to my hse to drill it instead. (worried that 3pin nails not strong enough) yup yup,the black mirror is my tv console feature wall
