  1. Ya can say that also. !! Money doesn't come easy to earn but easy to fly out fast on a spending spree.
  2. LOL, looks like black galaxy with speckles on it.
  3. Keitong: Your hob from mayer is induction, vitroceramic or gas one from mayer?
  4. Bluberi got what mattress? When we were looking for good mattress, we were looking at the dunopillo duchess with plush top & this other brand, I cant remember the name though. According to saleslady, both mattress are about 14" and would look a little too high on the bedframe we'd ordered. Was recommended at least 10-12" max. Best before buying mattress, have to consider the type of bedframe ordered and see how high it will rest on. If platform bedframe, it's ok with 14" mattress. For bedframe that's higher than platform beframe, have to get a suitable mattress to go with it.
  5. Yup Bought my furniture from JB. Some furniture shops in JB does delivery service to singapore for a fee and of course got to pay tax + gst. Still overall cheaper than what I would have paid for in singapore leh. Went to this furniture shop near Pasir Gudang. Am not familiar with that area myself as I went there like 2 times in total. First time to check out the furnitures there & KIV whatever items in mind while waiting for keys then. 2nd time was to choose & confirm furniture for our place by the time we got the keys.
  6. Hehehe, last time used to have this female dog back then. This dog would run to point A - B then C-D and back again in a mad circle. There was once she went on such a mad circle trip on a slippery floor outside and anyhow did a backflip when she slipped on the floor 'cos run too fast. I went into fits of laughter that time & up to now still brings a vivid memory. Puppies have more energy.Wait till yuki matures into an adult then it will slow down considerably.
  7. The lights are hmm those orangey types. But consider well lit with enough lights on my floor at least. My hubby ah, he busy preparing dinner ma by the time I come back & with a hyper dog in the house to look after. Unless he is superman to take care of everything first & wait for me then. I usually am back home later than my hubby so no time to prepare an early dinner unless hubby prefers a late dinner. keke. But thanks for your concern, greycat
  8. Hee hee if like this, then why not even bunk inside your wardrobe?*notti* In japan got ppl bunk in their wardrobe which they put their thin mattress & thick blanket for storing. Come night time, they'd climb in & bunk in to sleep. These types are for very small houses which doubles up living as dining & vice versa
  9. Saw it. looks good. Gendon even laminated her doors! Argh I want to laminate also~~lol But too little moolah, too many WANTS & NEEDS. Oh dear I must myself for being a little greedy.
  10. First time I see the floor plan for the 5 room units in 276B,C & D area. Not bad leh at least the HHS door in Kitchen compared to the HHS in dining area for EAs
  11. White is the most easiest colour to match with any other colour one. No worries also.
  12. Hmm. I think it is possible if you want to change the current toilet bowl colour. At first the original toilet bowl in dark blue was to be used back once the new tiles were up in the common toilet. However the toilet bowl & sink got problem I suspect during the dismantling process. And there was a new replacement for it in the same dark blue colour. We'd requested for grey colour to match the toilet tiles which they did.
  13. Gendon? Is there a pic of it in her blog if it still exists? Sky, you got to decide which one you'd want leh? 'cos everyone got different preferences so I can't really offer you much help on this. The thing is which one you'd really want, then go for it if you can.
  14. Waaaa, Mini storeroom to house boxes of appliances too.
  15. Apple got more barang barang I suspect that why her wardrobe only suited for one person. My mbr wardrobe is about 6.4 ft in width & almost 7 ft in height leh but still ok for me and my hubby. I initially wanted bigger wardrobe 'cos scare not enough for us but due to the wall length and the light switch position, we'd can only go for at least 6.5ft width & close to or at least 7ft in height. Otherwise if light switch is not in the way, I get bigger wardrobe. My hubby has MORE shirts than my clothing pieces if I ever count that is. My clothes haven't fill up the clothes bar.
  16. Is that black galaxy granite solid surface there?
  17. Apple, I think can leh. Cos my mbr wardrobe is at most 6.4ft in width. And both of us have enough space from top to bottom. Only thing is wardrobe is not full height as have a beam there & its the only place suited to place a wardrobe there near the toilet & mbr door. Sky, my wardobe got sliding doors but I doubt it will be shaky cos reason is that the sliding doors are a bit heavy from the feel when closing and opening. That time I went to the furniture shop and test out the wardrobes some like less than 5ft with sturdy sliding doors. Why don't you try going on a 'test drive' at some furniture shops check out those wardrobes that are less than 5ft alone see how the doors.
  18. Hey Weiht. Welcome to JW and our neighbourhood too! If your TO is Mr Tan, he is a nice TO. Have no problem with him so far for the defects list then. Not sure if you can get other tiles as for our case, the HDB contractors had to hack the common toilet tiles as got several hollow tiles. From those ugly light & dark blue tiles with funny motif borders(they ran out of those ugly blue tiles) to a decent modern light & dark grey tiles with acceptable motif borders. You can try asking the contractors if can change to 1 colour type instead of 2 tone colour types.
  19. leh, You have more time to relax and do more comparison one. And no need to rush too fast too unlike us. We both mad rush to have our place settled as soon as possible & went to so many place compare pricing and etc till my hubby really sick of shopping!
  20. Lol Yuki sounds just so cute based on the way you described her as not listening to Beta already. There's the pros & cons as in like for eg; Alpha = Bad baddie/Disciplinarian while Beta=Softie/Always spare the rod & spoil the 'child' type. Then Yuki can be technically considered the kid in your hse, greycat. So of course will be more guai guai when it comes to Alpha 'cos know if overstep the line, it knows it's 'dead' already. Beta very easy to climb over on the head ma. That's why cannot spoil the kid all the time. My hubby's dog, summer is the perfect example of a spoilt dog.
  21. Haven't go back to my parent's place yet. Kinda busy with alot of things at moment but will try to take one soonest. Oreo now mature into adult fully?
  22. Hey LL neighbour, sorry for late reply. Didn't see this posting, think it was not refreshed on my browser when I posted in response to greycat's msg then. Those teenage boys were doing something illegal, not drugs thing but more like those glue stuff if you know what I mean? Yup have to tahan a few more months till I have neighbours. You're lucky cos safer this way. You should try to be on friendly terms with your neighbours in case can look out for each other on the same floor & even chase away any intruders who dare to do anythng funny. The indian family are strange based on what you described them. As for that indian guy, ahem..! I don't think I wanna come across this bad element also. My hubby also ask me to be careful, so I've been on the lookout everytime I leave the house or come back. Have to bring an umbrella or something handy to whack any intruder in case. Not 100% effective but at least it acts as an immediate defence blocker somewhat. Thanks for your concern also Don't worry if the co is a registered one but don't let down your guard also.
  23. Sort of cos the dust from the drilling will fly onto the floor. The guy drilling into the wall was very smart. He taped a plastic bag below the hole where he was going to drill. It saved me the time and effort to sweep the floor as there was no dust on the floor at all.
  24. I like the Open kitchen concept. Looks cosy & small for 2 people. Not alot of space to clean. keke. That's an open dishrack shelve up there?
