  5. Yup. So now consolidating the measurements. Did you happen to get your glass doors from either of them?
  6. Hihi, I can't comment on the FS part... but what I would like to share is that for common walkways, I believed there's a 'limit' to how much stuff you can place without pure congestion. Like what you mentioned, with a big shoe rack and then with poles of laundry, it will limit a person to walk 'sideway' across? Not sure if the Town Council/HDB handles such issues but you have to think that once you feedback, tension may occur since you are the only neighbour sharing the space. If's it's a resale unit, perhaps you can ask the seller had they tried talking to this neighbour? On another hand, if you had bought it and doing renovations, they may automatically remove it since it's gonna be dusty + the wheelbarrow may not even be able to get past. Good luck!
  7. Oh wow! Isn't that nice? But then, I supposed there's something at the back of the 'door' to protect the owner's privacy? Can share where you saw it? Want to go and peek at it.
  8. Yours is done in wood right? Because the door will still need to be wiped once in a while to clean the oil. And laminated + water may not take well to each other. So now kinda hesitating. Heh heh...
  9. Hi, Need some advice... any feedback is appreciated. My unit was audited by a fsm and we were advised not to use any ceiling light as the height of the unit is a tad low. Was wondering if anyone had the same problem and what had you guys decided on the lighting for the bedrooms. What we are deliberating now are: i) Wall lamps (2 in each room on opposite sides) ii) Cove lighting - will it be bright enough? Around all 4 sides or...? iii) L-box all around 4 sides? Or...? iv) Combination? Brightness is our first priority, followed closely by cost. Thanks!
  10. I like yr kitchen door Can i know how much it was? It's a good alternative for a totally glass door.
  11. Okies. No problems... I'm still very new so would appreciate all ideas and pointers.

  15. Hi Sanjing, Same as you, it was recommended by my fsm too. So they sell the light together with the timer? Or is it separate?
  16. Hi BunBun, That's a very gd deal you got there! Do they have a variety of selection or does the lady brings in the catalogue for you guys to choose the material?
  17. So got find more cheap cheap things to BUY BUY BUY?
  18. I contacted one of the IDs from Ideal Hse.
  19. Unpacking sounds tough... Think i better try not to buy things first unless they are really cheep cheep. Gong xi. Got hacking or not? Otherwise, upstairs hack, baby deathcoth cries.
  20. Perhaps you can check with yr ID/contractor to see if the polishing can rectify them somehow? There are 2 types of polishing - wet and dry. Heard wet is better but so far, contractors quoted me dry prices. I heard that for wet polishing, they have to bring in the machinery to do. But hey, yr marble is nice! Mine is those pastel pastel broken marble kind. Think white, pink, slight brown... rojak! =)
  21. 2 told me it's 'no longer in fashion', 'only older ppl does that nowdays', etc. Depending on the way it was conveyed, it does make me feel ancient. But other than the sink support, i'm also looking at other pricing items such as the cost of cabinet pfr, etc. Oh i see. Okies.
  22. Hullo gals~ Was busy the past 2 days... BunBun - with headboard better bah i guess. Dun really fancy knocking hand/head against the wall. And i have no idea why my walls have this curve in every err... 1 metre? Like when u face a wall, you see small wavey 'long kangs' in a straight line from top to bottom. No idea what it is called. I like the platform in the pic leh. Means only at bed area then have. Hmm... Then my 'potential' glass mbr bathrm door may not knock onto the platform (assuming length of glass door is longer than platform height) and the water sliding down the door will not end up puddling at platform (if door ends above platform). Not sure on how contractors does these doors though... but in whichever case, that area may not get water.
  23. Actually hor, i'm guilty of it too. It's those small small stuff. Yours considered huge purchases le... TV + HTS + bedsheets...
  24. Bun Bun, Is it at the same place where you got yr furniture? Or same area? !! Thot i can drop by when heading up north to check out the place... !!
