doors for WIW? why not consider open? you should have a main sliding door to the WIW right? if open, just decide on the layout and colour can liao lor mine little WIW not ready leh therefore no picture

wanted feature wall intially but took it out later as few considerations: 1) costs - about 1.5K for feature and console 2) space - our TV gonna be on the side of main door entrance..think quite bulky for a 7feet feature to be located there right? abit obstruction to the walkway leh..morever my house 3 room nia, think very small liao, with feature & console the whole house will looked even smaller... 3) think some forummers ever adviced me that if 1 day you gonna move house again, what you cannot bring with you are all the built-in carpentary..which i think very very true..of course it may looked nice but like spending $ to design a wall which you cant bring it with you... after much consideration, decided to drop it and since roy think it is better not to do also..hahaha = save $ & space just paint a different colour on the TV wall and brought a console.. as for 3D, i only seen once only...already decided on the paint & laminate but Roy still haven give me revised 3D, he said have have have..but i think maybe my house done with the carpentary he still haven give me the 3D..purpose of 3D is to visualise how the colours combi will looked like with all paint and laminates choosen right? he KNS wan la..ahhahahaha i know that he is very x 100 busy with lots of project on hand now...so didnt chase him.. think my house 50% done..some complaints here and there..really hope everything be smooth..

cos normally he will also ask owner if gotton keys liao so that can go and view the house then he will give suggestions. if based on what you told him what you want for your flat, he can also give you a estimated quote but i can tell you, it will change when go and view flat..alot maybe necessary while some are extras.. think his "pattern" is you must have the keys before he will meet you..if you want quote, maybe he just do and email you to me his quote is just competitive, not the most expensive nor the cheapest but felt quite comfortable talking to him..did you can ask him to bring you to see showflats? he sure say no time wan la but i think all these can be arranged... mine is 3room overhaul as flat is too old liao..all false ceiling and plastering done, was painting sealer yesterday..think today or tml will be painting and lightings

hi hposnm thanks for your advice you got any blog? like never seen yours leh.. my light all confirmed liao 4 DL + 9 PLC in living and yes we hacked away the wall between living and kitchen but rebuilt another full height facing main door due to FS issue..the other side is half side wall with half length glass and centre is glass sliding door..so still a little dark i guess.. but i just thinking as for current arrangement of 4 DL + 9 PLC for a 3 room should be sufficient right? as for MBR only 3DL + 3 PLC as we not having ceiling light in the room also due to FS..

i like the Book rack cum sliding door to the kitchen, very nice think your reno is quite good, when is the handover? btw can also ask you how many downlights you have in the living room? you have any cove lighting except for the 1 near to TV console? cos from your picture see a bit dun see a bit leh.. cos i am having 4 downlight and about 6 PLC (to serve as cove lighting) in the living room..duno too dark or not leh..

i think the water proofing is like some chemical or duno wat added in the cement before laying of tiles ah?? correct me if i am wrong heheheheh cos i so happened to see the HDB file of my previous new flat hor and read when you purchased new flat from HDB directly, you are not allowed to hack the wall or floor tiles for at least 3 years as water proofing being done so as to prevent wastage of the waterproofing... think quite norm for contractor to quote only wall tiles on exposed area..am doing the same thing also you can also have full wall tile but higher costs lor

if this really happen i would have ask them to change the whole toilet bowl even after move in i no scold no scare want...but so angry ma.. i wouldnt even dare to buy a black colour as difficult to see the stain in long run....

Updates 13 June 2008 (FRIDAY THE 13TH) 1) recess area in MBR sealed up 2) gypsum board up for WIW 3) part of L-box up 4) toilet bowl, basin, rainshower up 5) all tiling done (wall & floor except for 2 rooms laminate flooring) took some pictures but unable to upload as i dun where i kept my card reader no internet at home as on the "run" now...haiz so far so satisfied with the workmanship..only 1 thing i still have to complain again dirtied my toilet bowl and stained with s**t darm disgusting leh waiting for them to clean today, if not i gonna tok off their head and ask them change new bowl for me btw, aircon delivered yesterday and will be up either today or next week, gift from fren la anyone used panasonic before? reviews / comments?

anyway is nice that the ID gave you some 3D pictures even without confirmation, think most ID will not do that..maybe you can ask roy to quote you 1st lor..he is busy man now and since you still waiting to rectify the leakage, the waiting time should be just nice... just wait for his quote, dun need to do anything

just read this thread yesterday, never thought that it would happen to me.. went up to check on the newly installed toilet bowl, to my horror, the common toilet bowl were stained with s**t was so angry that sms ID and ask him to tell his workers that better clean it sparkling clean for me tml, if i gonna see the same thing, i gonna their head! actually is not matter of virgin bowl or not, is matter of cleanliness. i will allow them to use as i can understand that human need to relieve ma but at least keep clean right..so er xin, used already still duno how to clean it..IDIOTs :curse:
