  1. thanks to those who replied to my "noob" question reason for me asking that is becos my fren told me that he actually loan from bank for his 3rd purchase of flat (so to say he already used twice his HDB loan) on his 2nd appointment, the officer asked him why didnt he get the loan from HDB...but no 2.6%, is the normal bank rates..he was surprised that they can still loan from HDB. finally he cancelled his bank loan and changed to HDB loan therefore, i am quite confused and thats the reason why i ask can we still loan from HBD even though we do not use the concessionary rates...as this is my 1st time and no time to go HDB and enquire. maybe i should do that on my 1st appt.. nevertheless, thanks for all the valuable advice
  2. i got mine fabric cover, 4 seater L-shaped at about $600+ (cant really remember) material wise, quite good as i like those hard type cushion, will not get out of shape easily
  3. just saw the thread, would like to ask a "noob" questions (sorry cos 1st time selling house leh ) currently 1st time owner for a 4room flat, got the loan from HDB. now selling off and intend to buy a 3room. in this instance, can i get loan from HDB but NOT getting the usual concessionary rate = abt 2.6% the normal rates just like bank = 3.7+% cos i understand is that we can only get HDB concessionary loan rate only twice.. so now i get the "normal" loan from HDB, then infuture when i upgrade, then i utilised the 2nd time loan? thanks in advance =)
  4. elven_princess: do you remember me? your nick sounds familiar, think we spreed before is it?? agreed with you that maybe ethnic quota plays a part..but i been to see malay and indian house, quite terrible leh and it "smell" a little..think it is quite difficult to get low COV at the moment as prices are rocket high esp the analysts also mentioned that resale flats will increased further 10%.. think i jialut liao cos by the time i go and hunt for houses, prices also increase liao.. !!

  12. did you ask whether the cash can be negotiable? i came across some sellers that quoted us 43k COV also 3 room but in the west, i think is 10th floor we thought that was high then the agent said the no 43K but at least 30K...lolz but personally i would the most pay $20-25K for 3 rooms the lesser the better lah slowly look around and you may find a better offer

  16. hi all, new here =) just sold my flat and haven got the new flat..hahah our agent got 2 mths extension for us from the buyer (which mean can stay 2 more mths upon handing over keys to buyer) we need to bear the utility and conservancy charges for that 2 mths. whereas, rental to be bear by the buyer. this is 1 disadvantage to the buyer which not many people will agree.. HTHs =)
