My sister bought the EC called Woodsvale in woodlands at $590K. last year she sold it off for around $680. think the place is about 8 or 9 years old. i think this amount she made not bad leh for the location.

if i were you, i'd forgo that non subsidised high COV HDB and 1K. Keep the overseas property and lookout for a small private apartment or condo here.

i just got it yesterday. the box although cardboard was attractive, in glossy bright red. the cover was suppose to be scotch taped down but when we got it, the cover had been ripped open. guess the person who did that didnt need diapers. does singpost actually open up parcels?

yesterday, my non subsidised resale flat. I stay there 2year 2mths already. left 8mths more before i can rent out whole flat. after the new ruling today, will i have to stay there for another 2 years and 8mths? walau, sianz man. anyone any idea?

i think in this case, the salesman johnny is a male and he used vulgar words on forummer lavmum, whom should be a female. can report to police, they will come and can be escalated if she wants.

when i was staying in an hdb flat, my bedroom window was facing an open air carpark just below and about 100m away was a busy road. the carpark every now and then got some cars the alarm will activate in the middle of the night and the road will have cars horning during peak hours. i had to change all my windows at that time and i decided to install double glaze window in my bedroom, about 70cm X 2, cost me about $600 seriously, i could not hear the alarms or the horns anymore. i step out of bedroom then can hear. but the sound will leak in from other places like the wooden board infront of your aircon so u need to seal it up with silicon, and the sound of my neighbour's elephant pets stomping above me was amplified...

we just moved into a 5 yr old apartment. the aircon works but one side vent like no air coming out while the other had very cold air coming out. even though we set the temp at 25c, the room was freezing this morning. so i used a torchlight to look into the vents and i could see thick black stuff all over the blower/rotor blade. my office next door got homefix so i went during lunchtime but they did not sell the Airconcare only got MrMckenic so no choice i bought the MrMckenic. then i went home and used a black trashbag stick under the aircon. the MrMckenic is foam type and it sticks all over the roller but doen't flush out the black stuff. i spary the whole vent all full of foam and waited 10mins for the foam to dissapear. the black stuff is now all wet but still clinging onto the roller. so no choice i use my karscher steam cleaner to blow into the roller. the black stuff dissapear but a bit of black droplets of water trickle out. the steam actually evaporates so there isn't much water to flush and i suspect i blew the black grime deep into the unit but at least both vents now have air coming out. my view is the foam type cleaner like mr mckenic can only be used to clean the fins and steam cleaner cannot flush or wash, it only blows. now have to make appointent with aircon serviceman to take a look and clean it properly...

i suggest u take the replacement parts, and then go to homefix to buy those privacy film stickers, the kind for sticking onto windows, and stick onto the glass. if it ever breaks again, it won't shatter this time as got the sticker holding it all together. i think daiso got sell those clear transparent ones.
