Have you try bugis pasar malam ? They have quite a few Chinese painting. Alternative, you can try.

1. Tanglin Shopping Centre ( Level 2 or 3 or 4) - There is a shop that speicalise on China theme painting.

2. Retail Shop opp. Queenstown shopping centre. - Their painting is MIC and u may consider ordering it from them directly.

Both shops sell canvas type painting. I would recommend shop 2 as I find their price more economical. Shop 1 looks like a very expensive shop so I did not step into the shop to see the price. Maybe, you can let me know the price if you do step into this shop.

most of these shops are able to customization, that means you ask them to paint whatever you want and the size, but it would cost abit for customization. eg. an off-rack paint (abt the size of those wedding photos that you hang on wall) may cost abt $300+, customisation of it (either same type of pic or same pic but bigger in size or different pic) may cost abt $500+ (that's a guide only).

hope it helps. :D

Chinatown, Shing Gallery, has some nice Chinese pop art stuff ... but pricey around 300 to 500 range. There is another art gallery at market street, multi-level carpark building, also has nice stuff not as expensive.

Chattuchak market in BKK is cheapest so far I have seen. But from the source, ie. China, should be cheapest. :dancingqueen:
