Bedok Central

Recommended Posts

Hi,

The alarm system cost about $250 or less. 1-time charge including installation and warranty. No monthly subcription. Price can negotiate further when there are more than 5 interested takers.

Interested ppl pls drop me a msg so i can email you the photo taken brochure as i don't have a scanner.

Thanks

not sure.. haven met my neighbour yet.. he was recommended by his aunt whom use for 10yrs and working fine.. :)

How this alarm function, just ring by itself? I have installed the ADT system and I think is better as it link to the police.

if the thief still dare to intrude when the alarm rang off.. den i  haha

n if my whole estate neighbours still don care.. i will serve ties with them.. lolz

Link to police confirm beta but in term of cost and their respond is another doubt.. R u sure is police or cisco?

Guys, I just have another serious problem. There are bubbles of paint formed near the floor skirting. I touched and found them to be damp. Does anyone here has any issues on damp walls or bubbles formed near the floor skirting? I need to gather as much info as possible and get Jovi to get the "specialists" to my unit to check. :dunno:

Nope, not burst pipe as no drilling done on the areas where the dampness appears. I googled and it could be water-proofing not done properly. Moreover if my pipes are burst, there should have been more water seepage.

When the system is armed, after the intruder open the door and after 9 secs, the alarm will sound. It is a very simple alarm system.

Check with you, is there any monthy subcription for the ADT system?

mine is at the MBR where there is alwas a damp spot esp after a rainy day. that was before renovation and we realise it's alwas there with a patch. called jovi up as ask her to patch up the area as it may b due to the construction where the wall did not contact the other end of wall, hence causing a crack line in my unit.

jovi did a water proving for me at the area only. then once she's done, i went for my renovation straight then. since then and hopefully, the area will be fineand my tiles will not pop up.

1 observation is our estate is still rather quiet although the number of cars in the carpark shows a lot of pple have move in. Either that or the sound proofing of our windows/walls is really well done. Really hear much when doors/windows are closed. This is good for a peaceful environment but conversely, if someone were to be trapped in the room, he/she really have to scream out really really loud for neighbours to take notice.

Interesting observation, isc90152. :D Tis good that Blk 221A is quiet - I'd love to have that for peace & serenity. :dribble:

I believe Linear Green is rather wide, almost 280m diagonally from Blk 219 MSCP to Blk 220 MSCP.

:P Reminds me of the story of the blind men and an elephant, which originated from India:

"Reality may be viewed differently depending upon one's perspective, suggesting that what seems an absolute truth may be relative due to the deceptive nature of half-truths."

The likelihood of security access gates at the ground level lift waiting area is practically zero.

The reasons are rather intuitive. I can come up with 3 of them easily.

on the contrary, i think that although linear green is veru quiet at night, but due to the proximity of the blocks esp for inner facing units, you will be able to hear each other when you are talking at the windows, i was joking to my wife that we and the neighbour opposit block can even talk to each other just be talking like that..hahaha... and if she were to shout anything to her dog, the whole opposite block would think what happen!!...hehehe....

and the water sound from floor above us is really loud at night, when we sleeping in our room, we can hear the water coming down the pipes when they flush.... :bath:

You can upload those photos to ImageShack & post the links here. Linear Greeners are concerned about the safety & security of their units so it is good to let everyone know of the home security solutions available.

But mine there isn't any cracklines @ all...only small bubbles of less than 1mm in diameter (or even lesser). It is appearing on almost all the walls including the 3 bedrooms near the floor skirtings. Btw, which part of the MBR wall did you face this problem?

And I thought my ears were playing tricks on me! Either that or I am the only one whose unit hears the flush down the waste water PVC pipes......

it is on the wall which is directly behind the external part of the building structure, at the small inner corner right on the floor inner recess part there. we always see moist part there before we do renovation esp after heavy rain, so we decided to ask jovi to water proof it and think they also did patched up work at the external wall
