Any advice for me bros.

there's a shop at alexandra village that sells a variety of chemicals for cleaning

you can visit them for advice, they are quite friendly.

asked for price of chemical wash for my EA, preliminary price is $450 till they check out the unit.

they stress that they DO NOT use acid coz it's damaging to the tiles and fixtures

the shop is at Blk 123 bt merah lane 1, opposite queensway S.C.

there's also a shop a few doors away selling furniture, quite reasonably priced too

as for myself, i'm looking for someone to construct concrete support for sink and stove

do you have any lobang?

i'll be doing painting myself coz labour alone will cost me $600-$1k

think i can do an acceptable job myself, what with the unit totally vacant

hi all,

Just bought a new 5 room resale flat. Need to do some minor reno work. I know most of the stuff I need to get done hence looking for a good and trustworthy contractor rather than a ID.

Following is the to do list

WHOLE FLAT:

Painting

BATHROOMS

1. Change toliet flooring[both bathroom's], not sure if chemical wash can clean all those stains betwwen the tiles. Advise please :)

2. Add vanity top and mirror in Master bedroom, new wash basin in kitchen toilet.

3. Chemical wash

4. Change folding doors for both bathroom ( I dont like these doors but dunno what to replace with)

BEDROOM & COMMON ROOMs:

1. Change the wardrobe doors in 3 rooms[the original one are a multicolored eyesore, need to change to something with a dark wood finish]

2. Varnish for parquet floor

How much sould the above job cost ?

If anyone's has already done something similar then estimate's would be helpful.

All suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks.

smart Move...

contractor more humble compare to ID... tot their so call DESIGNER LOL....

u got to soucce one by one lor...tat time consuming.. but yet if you get a really headache ID, TIme & Money worsen then the time u source for individual constractor...

more headache

all u need are :-

1. painters

2. carpenters

3. door suppliers

4. plumbers to do your basic

5.tilers

6.and parquet supplier

all these contractor will able to adivse you on ur situation

cuz contractor are like specialist

whereas ID is GP
