Our First Reno Journey

Recommended Posts

Mine initially had the joining between the tiles and vinyl..

But now cannot put, the ID said it's too high, if put will block the door. Sigh. I would expect the ID, being the professional, to foresee this and let us know in advance lor..

Cos the joining between the tiles & MBR vinyl is quite ugly to me :(

Hi Slashmylove,

Sorry to hear that...

Your contractor is good. At least he gave you laminated interior. Much much better than the normal white which are cheaper.

Very nice! I love the laminates that you have chose for your carpentry!

Hi Carmella,

Thanks for the compliment. We had a hard time choosing the laminates. Initially we are quite worried how it will turn out cos our Contractor do not provide us with 3D drawing except the kitchen cabinet. We can only visualise but luckily we are very happy with the color that we have chosen :D

We are quite particular with the interior color for all the carpentry cos we really don't like the standard white Color laminate. Before we sign up, we already told our contractor we want coloured interior instead of white.

I see, this is a wise choice. White interior tends to turn yellowish and mouldy over time.
