1 pointI got a mattress protector free with my mattress purchase. Are u getting a new mattress? Try to 'squeeze' one out of the sales person lah. Not expensive thing they can probably throw it in free. If not I remember seeing Metro sells them, I remembered it was below $20 [super-single size] Are you particular about bedsheets? I get mine at Metro too...I just got a couple of plain colored sets last week, less than $50 each. (super single, no quilt cover basis, threadcount was listed as 700 if I remember correctly. Not Tencel like Vct mentioned though. Just regular cotton. ). [will be more ex if your bed size is bigger lo...]

1 pointFood & Electronic Fair - 17 April - 20 April (Expo) Big Furniture Fair - 18 april - 27 April (Expo) (*Hope this helps)

1 pointahhboi, i bought mine at OG. If u got budget, go for Tencel type about 600 thread counts. Most brands now carry Tencel bedsheets as it is really silky smooth and more popular. I also notice higher thread counts tend to be more smooth but also more expensive. The one i bought is Tencel bedsheet (i forgot brand) $220 with quilt cover 600 thread count king size.

1 pointFirst TaoBao deal with domestic and you need your agent to handle everything for you. Aliexpress might be more expensive, but when you encountered any problems with the products or shipment, you will always get an instant answer by the sellers. Aliexpress hold the payment until buyers click item received satisfactory, then the money will release to sellers. Like buying from Tao bao, any damage your agent also negotiate for you, but very slim chance you will get a free replacement, or 50% refund. Aliexpress did this But another note is, buying online always a risk. Read reviews and look for reputable sellers is most important............ My experience and 2 cents.

1 pointHi~ As mentioned earlier, i have installed it myself, well, its my hubby who installed it and happend that the carpenter was around and they were curious how it works, so they started helping by drilling the 32mm hole on the wooden door. Here is the installation guide for Samsung Digital Lock SHS 1320 : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glzr-_Njkq0 Its pretty easy for us but it depends on individual and kind of door. It is not difficult, there is a video to guide how to go about it.

1 pointFor those glossy type, it will have 2 different color tones when repaint thus you cannot touchup type. For matte kind, you will not have this issue but only limited choices ...
-
1 pointYap. That's what i do too. Except for the sleeping bed and table, others like color combination, door design and etc all follow.

1 pointhaha.. when i told my contractor i have a single piece de rainshower, he didn't know what to think, so he quoted me $300 for installation.. when i saw the shower only got 2 pipes to hook up, we decided to do ourselves then to let him make the $300.. this is the finished product, lights for both toilets and storeroom are up, 24w led and superbright hacking at my place has also started..

1 pointMetal lock is both pin and rfid. This model is Gateman V20 can find more information with the model. My inside is something similiar to this, they will use a lock box to lock it up. So people cant access from outside. At the same time there a remote control to open the door from inside the house like below. The description below will give you a better idea.

1 pointI have not seen the wiring for a new BTO flat. If there are prelaid telephone cables to all rooms then technically it is possible. He just need to change the RJ11 faceplate which is used for analog phone to RJ45 faceplate that is used for data. Few short LAN patch cords to connect from ONT (provided by Internet Service Provider aka M1, Singtel for converting optical to electrical signal) to the converted LAN points. He won't change the prelaid cable, will be using those cable laid by HDB. So if your prelaid cable is CAT5, then your max speed is 100Mbps irregardless of your uplink. But this is already much better than WIFI's speed. You can get the guy to come over and check if your flat could do the conversion after you subscribe to fibre broadband. Remember to do speedtest to ensure you have good connection for all converted LAN points.

1 pointHi again~ I know its been a few days since the barn door locking mechanism was asked. Here is the hooked / lock / locking mechanism. Its something much simpler than expected. We only had the lock in the common toilet as the MBR toilet does not really need a lock.

1 pointHi guojiawen, That sounds good. The solid surface shelf should be more durable than buying stainless steel fittings which might rust. And probably cheaper.

1 pointThe feature is out. Totally loving this feature because it captures the real meaning of home! Home & Decor feature was cool, but it felt so… lifeless. Love that this magazine and its photographers chose to focus on the animals

1 pointI'm looking at vitroceramic hob now because we planning to do open kitchen and it seems to be a cleaner option, less smoke I assume. Do you cook often? We are probably cooking during the weekends. And might use it to boil soup/tong shui also, not sure using vitroceramic hob will increase the electric a lot? Do you find that the electric bill expensive when you cook? We visit Mayer recently and the sales person recommend the Ariston hob which is 13Amp. He said this is the only ones suitable for HDB and won't trip electric. However we find that the price is higher than brand like EF, it's $799. How much do you pay for the Ariston vitroceramic hob? Do you know where can find this kind of hob with reasonable price?
