Hello All, I understand that for new flats, the owners can request for cement screeding FOC from HDB. The form can be downloaded here: http://www.hdb.gov.sg/isoa072p.nsf/PC66VByFormID/HAPF00015 However, in the form, it is stated that HDB will not do cement screeding if the owner decides to lay marble/ceramic tiles. I would like to ask, if one would like to lay tiles then there is no need for cement screeding? Cement screeding is only for laminate flooring? Thanks for all info.

Hello, Just received a quotation from a friend for his BTO flat and I am using it for reference and the quotation contains some items which I would like to seek some opinion on. Provide protection sheet over floor tiles during renovation process - $300 - is this normal?? protection sheet also need money? Supply labour to install new heater, taps, sinks & other accessories at 2 bathrooms & kitchen - $550 - is this considered expensive?
