  1. Angel also wake up so early wor...
  2. haha yes yes we were happy it turned out so nice. But it took him a lot of time to design it according to the special measurements... and he did quite a bit of research too.
  3. The living hall looks great! And you did a practical thing by combining the feature wall with some storage!! The little decals around the switches are so cute!
  4. heh no wonder you want to have a change! Always nice to have something new to look at.
  5. His workmanship... generally ok. Stuff that had problems .. I would point out to him and he also changed them for me. So that was good. The only thing now is that I asked him to come back to do my floor for me but he very busy. Hope he can do it by Friday. haiz.
  6. I know what you mean. There was a stage where I was just plain tired also... nvm it'll all end soon and you'll have a lovely place to celebrate CNY in
  7. heyhey. no probs. I found Sumo's blog for you... trouble started at the end of page 2... http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?sh...=7897&st=40 mmm how much are you setting aside? $20k? What is the unit size? Ya if they dont seem confident about the cement screeding just forget about them ok? Better than if they use u as a guinea pig. *I'm such a kaypoh*
  8. JIA YOU! You can do this! Just a few days more!!!!
  9. pulling down the wall was included in the hacking works. My total for hacking works is $2400. It included Hacking of all floor tiles in ENTIRE unit (122sqm) Hacking of wall tiles in both toilets Hacking of one 6ft wall Removal of Balcony glass Removal of kitchen cabinets Removal of selected window grilles Haulage Building the wall cost me $800 (inclusive of door and door frame) I'll PM you
  10. as long as they dun look like they are hounded by loansharks I will buy. I think it's a good deal. And the price will go up somemore in the future...
  11. Nice combi. I think the white top with the white tiles in the middle really goes well.
  12. The cement screeding on my kitchen walls is free la. The epoxy coating and plastering cost us $300. How much it costs depends on the floor area... Do the current tiles need to be hacked up? There was one forummer who tried to do cement screeding and the whole thing ended up in a mess and he had to pay to have the place tiled. I think it was Sumobear (you can go find his T-blog chat) So you have to make sure that the ID/contractor you find has done this before and knows what to do...
  13. Maybe ba. But that'll be dull. Really envy you on the top floor... must be very breezy and can hang clothes out without worrying...
  14. WHOA *stressed* Actually it's more or less packed. Just two boxes to go and I already know where I want to put the stuff. The more exciting thing would be that my decals have been sent out and I can most likely put them up this weekend!!! One upsetting thing though... my contractor has been promising to come but he didn't show up. He would call and postpone. He postpone three times already. I guess it's like that... final rectifications will take some time cos he's busy with his new business already.
  15. Wow the deep red colour is nice! Most people have the fiery red one but I think the deep red for the kitchen cabinets looks more sexy!
  16. haha yah la. never mind one I'm only commenting. I've seen 7 repeated posts even
  17. Yup. Ikea. quite cheap I think but I dun rem how much. haha okok I pack my room this weekend then I take photos.

  20. So Excited! I just confirmed my order for wall decals with Decorette! We ordered 3 decals, one for sis's room, one for my room and one for the hall! Can't wait for them to come!
  21. Wah painting so fast?? A fresh coat of paint is always good for sprucing up the house!!
  22. My sister is married so the room is for her and her hubby when they are around. (usu not in the country) So it looks more like a young couple's room. My parent's wardrobe is really value for money.. one for $380 only and we got both for about $700. My dad did the arrangement of stuff in the room... Thanks Thanks... YES! so clever! haha She needed a rack for her toiletries and beauty stuff but that space was simply TOO narrow! After checking out all the products at Ikea, her hubby and her finally decided on this CD rack. It came in very useful since the shelves are fully adjustable and she can custom them to the height of her bottles and stuff.
  23. hmm the space really quite small hor. but do you guys cook much? What are the two guys looking at? haha
