Our old tap in the current house is also Hansgrohe, so just add a bit to the existing collection.. No $$ to buy more branded liao..

We are still buying the big items.. So now still behave like a millionaire.. haha.. Have to cut down liao, else we have no money to pay Uncle Soon..

My house is one of the five who will officially start next week bah.. We just went to Gain City @IMM last sat and the sales person managed to squeeze our appt to May.. You need to specially request for the date if you have reno schedule to follow..

Haha.. Somehow I think that he just slot some appt in.. then in the end, some will be pushed out of his slot.. I just hope that i won't need to only meet him at 11pm again..

Make sure you make a big scene at HDB office if needed, then guarantee you will get to see the boss who can make decision and get the approval that you want..

Finally bought our aircon at IMM Gain City on last sat - Mitsubishi Starmex System 4 Inverter.. Alvin is very experienced and shared a lot about aircon and its installation.. He was very chatty and even gave us suggestions on where to buy the electrical products and advised us to wait till IT show then buy our LCD TV.. He also kindly digged out the price list of the electrical products and shared the price of our interested fridge and washing machine models.. To our surprise, it's comparable to prices from Goh Ah Bee.. And this is the price without us bargaining at all.. To my disappointment, we walked the whole IMM, but still didn't manage to find our ideal sofa set.. Yesterday was a lighting and sanitary fittings day.. Went hunting around Geylang area.. Finally settled on our toilet bowls, wash basin and a Hansgrohe shower+mixer+tap set at Eestilo De Vida.. Gary is very helpful, shared a lot of knowledge on the shower heads and toilet bowls etc.. He also showed us a few shower head with water to let us have a feel on the difference.. So initially, we only wanted to buy toilet bowls and basin there, ended up buying a Hansgrohe set as well.. Quite tempted to buy the recommended rain shower from him because the discount he gave is really substantial.. We are still thinking about it now.. Walked so many lighting shop along Geylang area, but only came across a crystal lighting that I rather like at Lighting Centre.. This fits in pretty well in our MBR, but the price is rather steep.. $500+.. I wonder how much I can slash the price

Dining chairs come together as a set with the dining table.. It's not bought separately.. As for bedframe.. $800..

I love your wash basin.. very cute.. I find that Asia Excel stuff is slightly more expensive.. Did you get a lot of discounts off the stated price?

With the pipes, my rainshower won't look as nice leh.. sob sob... I tot Uncle Soon said he's gonna hide those pipes for me.. hmmm.. Your water pressure is really huge manz.. So fast and the things are spolit..

Wood seems to be the more problematic one.. But I think their glass one also have the tendancy to have scratches.. But at least this is more obvious at one glance.. We also didn't buy sofa off hand because we want to feel it.. As for dining chair, they will recommend some to you.. We previously chose a few others and they gave some valuable advice which resulted in this final choice.. We saw the same chair at IMM the other day and it was really comfortable.. So you dun need to worry too much.. Just go there to take a look, there's no need to commit yourself to the store as of now..

Have you bought things from them? I think it might also be a matter of luck bah.. Because a lot of things now are from China anyway.. it's just how good the QC is.. The valuation is 405K if I rem correctly.. The owner is very clean and maintain their things very well.. Plus they like to renovate every now and then themselves, therefore condition is slightly better.. Your owner gave you a lot of things.. hee.. Ours are only the fixtures..

No choice bah.. I dun think I have the energy to wipe every now and then to maintain the whiteness..

By the way, the table top is changed to clear glass top because I don't fancy black top.. And the dining chair is changed to black after much persuasion from Smartie.. I wanted white very badly.. But for practical reason, I dun really have a choice.. Just read a thread abt S&C at Singapore Brides.. pretty bad comments inside from a few customers.. now I'm starting to get worried of the things that we bought.. Melvin and wife are very helpful and they gave us a lot of advice.. Now we can only hope for the best..

Already called Uncle and inform him.. He said he will replace the affected laminated flooring.. not too sure how is he going to change.. Most probably the whole wardrobe area.. But now I'm afraid that it would be a different colour from the current one.. Keeping my fingers crossed.. Side track a bit.. The quotation that Smartie came up with is really impressive.. Exactly like those ID kind with categorisation.. So maybe Uncle Soon can consider outsourcing to him..
