  15. Painting After 3 Sundays of work, we finally completed all the walls and ceilings! ## MBR ## Guest-room ## Study-room Frankly, we didn't expect the 'Lily White' paint to turn out so yellowish.. And I was pretty upset by this for a few days.. But wad to do.. I don't think it is right to repaint the walls. It will be a waste of the paint which we already bought.. and also everyone's efforts.. I guess it is just a matter of getting used to it.
  16. icic.. Kudos for your spirit to hands-on urself. =) Try google "how to install gypsum boards".. quite a few links/videos popped up.
  17. Another way is to put a piece of thin wooden board over the trunking, then paint over it. I think it should be less obvious to the eyes than putty covering the gaps. Neighborhood hardware shops sell wooden planks but cutting them to the size you want may be tedious. Simplest way is to ask contractor do a plasterboard over it. Confirmed nice-looking I done so for my house
  18. ur living hall design concepts looks awesome! Everything seems to fit in nicely - the furniture, brick walls, lamps.. Looking fwd to your 'completed pics'!
  19. I got the beam in my kitchen too.. but mine is only 1. All the best for your reno!

  21. I bought my dining table and coffee tables from Star Living. The way they operate.. seems quite pro to me. I got no problems with them.
  22. (... con't) Electrical Works (DIY) ## FIL replaced the old (spoilt) storage water heater with an instant heater He also done up the water inlet pipe for us and changed the taps. ## I kinda like our toilets & storeroom lights - Big & Round.. WTB thinks otherwise though. ## Ceiling fan is up! ## Our "Movie Lights" - uses halogen lamps and are dimmable. Good for movies sessions, or creating 'nice, romantic atmosphere'
