Hello Brianho, Your kitchen cabinet jin swee... should go for CasarStone or SilesStone as solid top which is Quartz (Diamond hardness is 10; Quartz is 8) so wont scratch, wont chip off, wont stain, wont burn, wont melt and best of all, SilesStone is anti-bacteria. SilesStone is about $150-180 per foot run (NOT per square foot) for normal 600mm depth counter; $250-280 per foot run for island size. All kitchen cabinet solid top is go by per foot run, NEVER go by per square foot. Those ID that tell you per square foot is trying to beheaded you. If go for Quartz solid top, ID will mark up 20% to 100%, so beware.

Hello NeoBY I saw you have some very blink blink mosaic tiles... did you check with the tiles shop if you can chemical wash them? The reason i'm asking is that yesterday i was at White Horse with my friend to block the tiles i wish to use for my new house. I saw some very unique blink blink mosaic when i like very much, my friend said not recommended cos it is "printed" by machine, cannot subject to chemical wash or else the blink blink effect will damage or fade off. May i suggest you check with your contractor or tiles shop to determine which tile you have that can be chemical wash?

For the Vesta... it will have to mount on the wall, need plumber to run a separate water pipe with valve conceal in the top cabinet. The acidic water container is place beside. As for Delphi... my lower cabinet are all Blum drawer units, the undersink unit can place together with the sink drainage but the container for acidic water must be put in the sink.

When your contractor/ID apply for renovation permit from HDB, he will need to submit for hacking approval, if HDB find a particular wall in between can hack and cannot hack, PE will be notify, the renovation permit will be charge many times more. Usually before they notify the PE, they will try to talk you out. If you die die still want to hack away that wall, they will call in the PE to evaluate the situation. A word of caution, if anyone forcefully hack away the wall labelled with solid black line on your floor plan, it will de-valued your flat, every units in the flat will be affected, emergency repair will take place and the owner and his contractors will be fine beyond your imagination.

One of the main reason I don't like is while you ON the Delicooker, you can feel the heat from the cooker.
