He didn't share design ideas during the 1st meetup, and being contractor I guess he does not produce 3D drawings so I am very amazed your flat is so beautiful. 1. How was the process in working with him like? Did you had to come up with your own designs or draw it out for him to see? 2. Or did he come up with the design for your flat? 3. Did he do anything for free for you guys as the reno progressed?

We bought the cloth and auntie was going to help to sew it but had fallen sick and not in the best of condition to continue the project. I've never heard of the firm before and thought it was quite new until they mention they have own Design Showroom and Capentry Factory. Sounds like a big player. Hi fellow Renotalkers, I'm quite new to getting contractors to do some works. I want to ask you for your views on the following pricing and get some wise advice: (Mine is a 4 room flat, 101 sq metres) 1. Provide Labour to replace 2nos. of water tap and repair kitchen sink -- $200 2. Supply and install 1 set of instant water heater for master toilet, not include heater point -- $280 3. Provide labour and material to do painting work in whole house, work includes water piping, door frame and wooden door -- $1500 4. Provide labour to do polishing work **** room -- $580 Total: $2560 Is this a reasonable price. My parents found it expensive which could be the case for most people who saw the $2K plus price. Hope fellow forumers can provide some experienced advice whether to go ahead with the works.

Hi everyone, I was asked to choose between Nippon or ICI Dulux paint for painting of interior walls. It seems like a minor decision but I just want to get it right Any consideration between the two? Is there any difference other than different brands. Is both the same, just that the range of colours is different? How about the pricing? Thanks guys!
