hmm.. mine is a bit uneven .. can feel it. msot likely, we will ask our ID to see where are the uneven areas and request for HDB to touch up OR get ID to touch up but this one must pay lor.

why cannot use solid surface ? quite curious abt it. also, can share pic of ur surface top then ? also curious hw it looks like.. hehe !

hi MsPetite, my kitchen is still nt done up yet so cannot show u anything yet. the island itself will be pretty small in fact. i'm just using it as an extra surface area for my kitchen. if i am not wrong, it is about 1 - 2metres. forgot the measurement liao as for my kitchen layout, i dunno how big ah, but i have attached a pic of my house layout for ur reference
