just be prepared that most of the companies will charge a premium on condo pricing. so u cannot be using HDB pricing to compare with condo pricing. reasonable package really depends on what u want for the toilets. hack? overlay? change all accessories? concealed piping? etc etc reasonable payment? I believe u are looking at monthly instalment? but unfortunately, most companies will only do work in progress payment. for instalments, u have to go to the banl. duration, can be 1-1.5 months at most, depending on whether u doing hacking or overlaying.

my suggestion is u make 2 side. 1 side for hob and sink, the other side is totally dry area.

actually, there is no good workmanship on cement screed. this is because no matter how good the worker is, once the cement is cured (dried) hairline cracks will sure form. cement screed is basically wet cement levelled smooth, that's all.

i think it looks quite alright, perhaps u can negotiate a 3 to 5 % discount. becuase from what i see, they are quite normal market rate. no chopping of u.

best is u hack the floor tiles and re-lay the floor. because it seems to me that the water proofing is no good. sooner or later, will encounter water sipping to ur below unit. depends on u la. if water sips below, i think hdb is willing to pay 50% for u. but i cannot confirm.

I and one of my friends were conned by JB contractors. and I think a few of them in the forum were too ( just search for it within the forum, and u will know). not trying to break their ricebowl, but really, this is for your own good. I learnt this lesson myself. for JB contractors, most will come in late and go back early using the excuse of 'avoiding the jam at causeway'. and it really pissed me off when I call them, I got the Malaysia ring tone. at least engaged a sg based contractor.
