hmm, i got my ceiling fan at Home and Decor..they charge me 3 fans, with ceiling lights and remote control - $1000. Is it worthwhile? It is not the normal type with round lights...bit antique lookg with 4 lightbulbs

[for toilets - either do hack+tile or dont touch it at all. the savings is actually a RISK down the road - tiles pop up, water leakage...etc If its a ground floor unit ..do you see any problems in overlaying... esp if I take care to make sure the existing floors and waterproofing are OK first. Its a 14 yr old flat. I am also thinking of doing overlaying of tiles for my upcoming 'new' flat. After reading all these thread, wonder if i shd? How long does it take to hack and re-tile? And how long does it take to overlay? Really overlay is no good? How do we do chemical wash? must ask contractor or can DIY? Sorry ..really duno anything.

yup, i feel that you should only select your furniture after you confirm the "theme" and layout of your house so that you can choose the furnitures that best match and fit into it. hmm, not much theme i can choose coz i buying resale and the flat still looks alright. So wont be doing much renov..infact no renov except change toilet .ehhehee...But basically we look for simplicity.

Seems like their service not consistent one.....haiz. Good furniture with bad service .....Whats the point? Hope they see all these comments and improve on their service. Otherwise their biz really going to drop!

I havent select my furniture yet leh coz i havent get my keys..will only get the key in Feb08. So was thinking to confirm the furniture by mid Oct. This shd give them more than enough time to order and ship over! If not, they really gone case....
