    I know this is an old thread...but curiosity didn't kill this cat this time. Saw HoonHoe aka EagleDesign's advertisement in the newspapers today. Seems for all the negative comments...Mr Tan is still in the business. Oh well...at least is learnt something today...since i dun really have the time to while away for my renovations.

    I ditched Singtel many years ago cos i tot they were getting from bad to...err...more bad. hard to get thru..their CS was not taking my concerns seriously..can even hear them sniggering over the phone..when i told them i had connection problems..to cut a long story short..i tried Starhub..so far...no problems..4 years & counting...bottomline here is..quite simple..if the ISP can't even provide a decent service..why even bother.

    Hi TM, take a trip to any hardware shop in the heartlands or any lighting shops..they should have those old conventional door bells. even the bargain shops should have them lah.

    more or less i know what we gonna do. it will be quite minimal.. we got our own paints..so that's why i was asking u..fix air-cons then paint or the other way round. the thought of coordinating the work among the various subcontractors can be quite daunting..i've done it before..oh well..

    Hi ccchua22, My key colleection is slated at the end of this month lah... & i know these contractors & ID won't even bother to respond the moment they hear we dun have the keys yet. in the meantime..i'll just contimue to "window shopping" thanks!

    after over 5 months in the market...i finally managed to close the deal to sell my 4 room flat. i never signed any exclusives..even though we were pressed to do so..cos they couldn't guarantee can definitely sell. i also negotiated on the commission..who sells first..get lor. The biggest lesson we learnt...there are more krap agents out there than honest ones... So..beware.

    Hi ccchua22, FINALLY!...after trying for about 5 months...we finally managed to close the deal to sell our flat last Tuesday. had to drop price quite a fair bit! 30k below valuation. hopefully when we get our keys later..Alvin can help with our even lesser budget. anyone did any works with him recently? pics most appreciated.

    Hi ccchua22, thanks for asking...& still remember me! ektualli....i've yet to collect my keys...which should be soon...before CNY. as much as i'm excited...i'm more concerned about not able to find a buyer for my current flat. no one is really coming in to the resale market. i more or less know what i wanna do for my new home..copy yours!..hahaha. the festive season may not be such a good time for selling the house...renovations..too...workers, contractors all balek kampung for the holidays. you think?
