Not sure whether this is the place to post but I think it's good for everyone to share with the rest on any sales, promotions, exhibitions, fair or discounts that they came across. Most of us are doing our reno and busy buying stuffs, hope it will help all of us to cut some costs. So far what I know is Franc Franc is now having closing down sales. Quite a lot of items are already sold out but U guys still can try. Would appreciate if anyone can share more~

Haha, I more heng, I only got another corner unit who will pass by me. furthermore, as Im on 2nd flr, they usually use the stairs beside instead, so nobody really passby my unit so far. lol Next time I go in the afternoon, I try take some pics and update my blog. Really not much sunlight....... Looks dim dim dark dark de....

Yup, I know how you feel... My SOOOO simple reno the most take 3 weeks, but now is already the 4th, and only the 1st coat of paint is up.... I had to change all delivery and change my plans... Lucky is I hve a place to stay, else really feel like killing my ID.

Haha, I guy mah, most likely nobody will ever wanna peep at me. lol For me, my flat doesn't get much sunlight. No east west sun, and as im on 2nd flr, sunlight are also blocked by nearby flats. I also just came to know this recently when I'm in my hse whole day. And those films are also blocking most sunlight too, really makes my unit very dim. Plus point is most likely my unit will be cooler during hot afternoon.

Just curious, where do you guys buy the mattress protector, bed sheets, etc? Need to buy them very very soon. Any place sell them at reasonable price? Or better still, where got sales on them har?

Haha, yup, re-sale may be bigger, but....but.... for singles like me, I would actually hve too much space. lol Singles like me only can apply for 2 room flat but the ratio is too hard to get. So my only other choice is re-sale which luckily for me, COV drops drastically recently. I Can't wait till 40 yrs old for the new flat can I? lol A very big advantage for new BTO is the reno cost is so much much lower than re-sale which is much better for ppl like me who only hve budget pocket.

Hmmmm..... Not sure i wanna re-apply the film. Yup, it does provides more privacy but it makes my hse very dim.

Ya, I did ask around too but most ppl don't want to do it as the sticky glue left behind is not easy to remove i heard. Sad.... You got the contact for that $150 one? Thanks!

Please please update here once you have done. Becos I'm also facing same thing on those film. As mine is a 2nd flr corridor unit, almost all my windows have these old old films. Thinking of changing them too but not sure how much.

Yup, that's what I heard but of course don't know when lah. Didn't know about this earlier, else I would have upgrade it since Im doing the re-wire. sad...... So just post it here to share so that those doing re-wire can consider this.

It for info which I just get to knw also, HDB will be upgrading to 40amp box. Those doing re-wiring might want to consider upgrading to 40 amp as well.

Does your WIW have a door? I'm also thinking of having a wardrobe without the door, looks more pretty. But the thing is it will be hard to maintain. Have to arrange everything nicely, got lots of dust and may have insects living in the corner, etc. It seems like more disadvantage than advantage.....

Mine got two big pipes eating into my vanity top area. but thats not the worst, I got this big window at the side where we plan to put the shower, end up hve to change plan.

Ya, agree tiling are expensive. I only manage to do up one toilet only due to my budget. And it eats up almost 1/2 my budget already.

Ya loh. Actually the water pipe can go in straight into the heater as it comes with a on/off valve. But my plumber run it to a 2 way tap first then go into the heater, thats y it looks complicated. lol But my tiles are new, so didn't want to re-run the pipes again else ugly. Oh well, not everything will go as what you want de ba.

Wow! Congrat bro! Finally come your turn ler! From what I see, the condition okay mah, not that bad. But I see a lot of reds! and Shelves. lol One thing I learn, please take note of all the toilet pipes before you plan with your ID. Else they plan here plan there, end up the pipes or in my case, the window blocking.
