I did my wardrobe and cabinet and tiles (small reno) and the wardrobe per foot is around $230. Yours is $293, very expensive.

I agree with EdensMom, renovations can take quite a bit of time and effort. The last time I did a small renovation, I just leave the coordination to my contractor and merely decided on colours, design and materials. All turned out well.

Did he say how he will take care of the existing chipped tiles?

This is terrible for a new flat. Who will expect drainage to be blocked?

I guess just think of your future needs and future possible occupants and make a decision based on that.

@ pink texas, My contractor does everything! In fact I also had to retile part of my balcony, which was done up very well too. My sliding door wardrobe is about 7 feet long, very happy with it. Have PM you my contractor's detail. All the best.

I got this contractor to help patch up my balcony floor and change pipe, cos downstairs new owner and they claim that my balcony floor leaking, their ceiling wet patch. Workmanship is good. But now busy period, have to try asking if available.

I did a small job at my parents place, just a wardrobe and glass display case. The first quote the person 'chop' me and ask for $2330 for 1 sliding wardrobe, the other quoted me also $2330 but its 1 wardrobe + 1 display case! Btw, how to upload photos here?

Laminates does not attract termites cos its not wood. why don't you consider normal homogenous tiles? Marble does scratch easily, and needs polishing, and expensive!
