my newly purchased rug from Evov living..love the fur feeling on the rug.. heh

i got quotes ranging from $1380-$2k+ (for console+feature wall). Size: 7feet for feature wall only i m not quite too sure bro

i mean the situation of the feature wall in ur living room For tv feature wall, it needs alot of support. The contractor will drill 3 big screws to your wall to support the feature wall. The big screws will is very very long and big. if the wall you are going to mount the tv, the "back" of the wall is your bedroom, the screw will go through the wall and affect your bedroom. your bedroom will have 3 patch of affected area if the wall you are going to mount the tv, the "back" is out of the house, its should be no problem i duno how to explain, but take note of the screws.. my feature wall is situated on the wall sharing the living room and bedroom. After installing the feature wall, my bedroom wall has 3 big patches (the wall pops out). The contractor will then mend the patches for you.

hmmm the "back" of your feature wall, is it your bedroom? or is it out of the house? This makes a difference If the back is bedroom, need more than 1 day If the back is out of the house, its better any glass/mirror on the feature wall? if yes..it MAY takes more than 1 day

i went to Homefix at Novena square a few days ago. The simplehuman rubbish bin catches my eyes. love the design and how the bin works i was telling myself that "wow this is good, need to source around for Simplehuman bin already". so only Homefix selling it, how abt other big departmental stores? do they sell Simplehuman products? Went to Giant look for similar stylish bin also. the mechanism looks easily spoilt.. i am also shortlisting between Brabantia and Simplehuman, this thread has all the recommendations. hehe so interesting

heh i am not their salesperson,but i took alot of weeks to search for reasonable price half leather sofa. below shop is the name of the shop (univonna). price v reasonable and they have a wide range of sofas. http://www.univonna.com http://www.ifcsingapore.com/about-ifc.htm delivery was on time and sofa was packed in styroform (duno how to spell)

i will rather go for half leather, cos most of the time the human touch area is being used. the back of the sofa (not real leather) are no use at all..so no point having leather at "that" area for the fading of leather, not so obvious la..cos its at the back of the sofa overall. the only apparent side is at the side of the sofa..but will not fade so easily cos we dont sit / touch there often full leather almost twice the price of half leather leh..in terms of value for $, i personally will feel that half leather is good enough my humble opinion, no right or wrong answer, dun flame me

hi jacky, i almost got seahorse, its one of my shortlisted sofa, didnt get it eventually cos of its long delivery date (that time they only can deliver after cny ) ya u r right..its cheap,durable and nice (it comes with alot of nice colour) v value for money

went to evov living today at south bridge road. In the webpage it states that its close at 8pm. i reached there at 7pm and they have already closed sales person eat snake ya..sigh

delivery super on time..! i bought a display cabinet and coffee table here. Display cabinet has a little paint chipped off, so i requested to change a new piece..their follow up is v good, called me automatically to arrange the delivery timing. V happy with the service overall

Hi Sunshine, i think white for top and bottom kitchen cabinets with black countertop will be v v nice..i wanted to try this combination but dont dare to risk it cos of maintenance..till now i am still telling myself "shall i do top and bottom white colour instead?" hard to make decision right? hehe..have to chose between "nice vs maintenance" my bro's 5 year old white countertop, he is complaining that the stain is hard to clean. he clean till give up on the stain.. however,white is indeed the nicest also

hi meepok, i agree exactly on what u say too tats what i thought when i am reading this thread (how come now 4rooms got 2sizes-75and90sqm). Last time where got like that...i am sure quite alot of pple will be misleaded from the sample unit anyway, toa payoh is a dream location for most sporeans, be it 75 or 90sqm, its toa payoh lehh.

a lock that u can lock from inside of ur hse only..those push left to lock,pull to right to unlock sorry ah, i duno how to describe
