I got their quotation from U home sometimes back. But did not engage them. Reason: Beyond my very tight budget.

My 2 cent worth....normally carpenter or id/contractors will try to tell you not to shift, this and that, etc, etc, blah blah blah.....all excuses which you cannot think of...if you willing to pay, then everything can be done. It really depends on your id/contractors whether he/she will help you or not.

Actually everybody should read up waileong's blog. Very interesting articule regarding about IDs and Contractors. As this is my 2nd time reno, I only go for contractors and in fact some contractors do have good 3drawing too! And are cheaper compare to ID. My first time reno, dating back more than 11 yrs ago, cost my a big big hole in the pocket....very hard to recovered back (I mean saving). Now, go for min. reno, save up abit and buy from the shop. You can actually save alot! Well done waileong's blog!!!!

Totally agreed. Dont do with haste. Take your time. Afterall we are talking about ten of thousands of dollars not few hundred dollars. Source more and compare item by item, psf by pfs, pfr by pfr...and of course numerous showflats: completion and half completion.

This sat morning, hdb contractor coming to take a look at my main door (the lock and unlock metal cannot close properly).... After this, the next issue will be toile bowl......the suckion is not strong, flush, the water raise up! Need to use rubber pump after make business!!! Terrible....today, back to normal....aiyo....how to tell the hdb con???
