    Loving the colours of the entire home. I like that they all blend nicely together. Btw, I noticed you're using mostly subway tiles for your kitchen. Is that costly?     Wow. Really sorry to hear that. I thought the whole point of getting an ID is to give peace of mind and not having to monitor the renovation progress.     DUDE. You just articulated how I feel about laminate cabinets. They're one of the reasons my blog exists. I too would go for real hard wood as much as possible. And no matter how persistent an ID is about using laminates cos they last longer, are cheaper blablabla...resist it! You seem to have a keen sense of taste.     Congrats on your new home! Just a tip: don't worry too much about trends and getting the right look to fit a certain theme. Take what works and always plan storage, lights and allocate space for different functions. Be honest and upfront with what you like/don't like with your ID - don't let them force you into adding horrid fixtures just so it'll be good for their portfolio, but an eyesore for you.
