Wall will be easy, the frame, got to go HomeFix and 'study' their fillers and see which one suitable. See if got any filler than matches the color of your frame. May or may not be able to find, coz most fillers are for wood and concrete.

Hi hoseyman, Bought it at Novena Square HomeFix at $78 less 10% = $70.20. It's high grade stainless steel (according to the box) and I only saw 2 there. I saw it at Novena Square HomeFix last week and cannot decide, than when I decided to buy, went to Northpoint, Thomson Plaza and Causeway Point HomeFix but didn't see it. So went back to Novena Sqaure HomeFix to buy. Didn't know got 10% discount until I saw the bill.

I think the aluminum poles are quite widely available. I saw at the mini-mart near my house those cannot adjust length type at about $7+ each. Than at I think NTUC or something those adjustable type also at $7+ and at HomeFix at about $11+ adjustable type (but looks better than the NTUC ones).

From the picture can't really tell but the 'retractable' bracket seems to be in white, if yes, means it could be powder coated. I got stainless steel one coz scare it rust leh, will alway kena water one. Just realise from the website I posted that the price is indicated there. How stupid am I! It's $398. Price actually went UP! Can't believe it. Everything also go up except my pay.

Heehee...think I need to bold the 1st sentence. applefreak: I also usually dry quite a bit of things. Think this is the best way for us. The window view so so lah, will happen to see other's balcony (very near), hahaha.... As I mentioned, on a budget, so no ID. Got my brother to help out in the essentials (hmm...he can be considered as ID) like kitchen cabinets, painting, wardrobe, plastering, shower screen. Than the rest I either find contractor myself or do myself. angelwrath: Ya...finally, very busy with the reno (coz a lot of DIY + cleaning) and preparation to move. So too stress to start a blog then. But I did take pictures along the way (whenever I remember). My hse is directly opp canberra primary school. Quite near the blue full length window cluster. MRT is behind the MSCP.

On 2nd tot, its not so simple coz it will damage the silicon seal around the switch plate. I did it before the painters came back to touch up. Took out old one, connect the wire, install back, and use silicon to fill up the gap (used this thing call 'No More Gap'). The painter came back and did all the touch up although I could have done it myself. So unless you enjoy DIY, you may not like the idea of doing it yourself.

Only 2 vendor ships to Singapore, 1 has QTY 1 and the other QTY 11. 1 sells at US$14.95, the other at US$15. The former shipping charge is US$11 to Singapore while the latter is US$10. So take the latter for example, it will be total US$25 which depending on exchange rate. I use 1.5 as an example for simple calculation. Roughly expect the exchange rate to be closer to 1.4 so will make it abt S$35. Additional item at shipping charge US$5 each. So more people buy will bring down the shipping cost but still expect to pay about $30 each at least.

My wife likes everything hung up but in this case no choice and the only place to hung is too far away from the sink, so convinced her I will but a nice drainer, just bought yesterday and she seems to like it. This is what I bought, not sure practical or worth it boh but like the look so just buy it. simplehuman u-frame two level dishrack

Any movers to recommend?

Just did my move with Citimap. Called and came next day for site survey. Have a quotation form and look through the items, quoted $370 for 40+ boxes (on top of the 20+ boxes we already have in the house) and a 20ft truck all inclusive. As last min booking and wanted Sat so only got afternoon slot. Suppose to come at 2-3pm but was stuck at earlier job due to rain. At about 3+, a 14ft truck came as they have finish their job while the original truck still stuck. A group of very nice and accommodating guys. 1 team = 5 person. Things were nicely packed and handled quite well. Wrapped up all the things not in box. We got quite a bit of loose items and they brought up some more boxes to pack them in for us. We got quite a bit of dismantled furnitures that we packed previously ourselves using newspaper. That was a mistake as we did not pack properly and there were 1 or 2 scratches when the item arrived at the new place. They unwrapped those items they wrapped up earlier and also put the boxes and furnitures where you want them to. The 20ft truck finally came and pick up the rest of the stuff still at the old place so that the 14ft truck do not have to make a 2nd trip back. So end up with 10 person helping to move everything in. Bought lots of drinks for them (no beer please there are still working ) and they are very happy. Helped me to shift my piano that is already in the house too. Overall a pleasant experience. -
My empty house Part 3 My Common Toilet My Master Bedroom 01 My Master Bedroom 02 My Master Toilet 01 My Master Toilet 02 You like it ah...I don't like it leh, cannot hang the drainer on top of the sink, so end up with those that put beside the sink. Bought a 2 level SimpleHuman one, quite like it. Yes, all my light points with holder, but is the 'T' one, so can get a bulb and put in for temporary lights. At least won't be in the dark when I go visit at night.

Just a note, I took 8 shots (4 top 4 bottom) and stitched the shots together, but from my balcony it is quite far away from other blocks.

If it includes fixing for you than not so bad, but if it exclude fixing charges than might as well get it from choo chiang yourself. The price difference between Hager and Legrande is actually quite minimal. I use Hager for my previous house and switch to Legrande for my current house to change the look. My wife actually prefer Hager but I am quite satisfied with the Legrande ones.

The warehouse sales is over but every month they will have selected items on offer.

Wow, 600+ looks like a nice price. But kinda strange to have it in horizontal position. Hope someone else who have used it can give you feedback.

I'm using Amasco 52" for rooms (x4) and living (x2) and dining (x1). At night we on no.1 to sleep, and haven't on aircon since move in on sat. A bit regret installing sys4 invertor but I know when the hotter months come I will appreciate the aircon still.

Nice...am hunting around for a cheaper source and will post here if I can find. So far for individual pieces I already notice a huge price difference between Metro and NTUC. Like a 450ml bowl at Metro cost $13.50 while in NTUC is $9.50. But NTUC got very limited design (the one I went I saw 2 only) and NTUC don't sell the 'package' one.
