  1. Hi rumi, As for hollow parquet, its the same process as how you check for hollow tiles. The sound is exactly the same as any hollow items, a very high pitch sound. "Empty vessels makes the most noise" and think you should know the meaning. Cheers.
  2. Hi tension_z, Well maybe I was actually looking for those seats with thinner cusion, those very slick and modern looking. The chairs to me looks abit "out-dated". But overall still satisfied with the buy at this price. Cheers
  3. Hi SmartFool, Indeed its quite a good price, judging from the fact that the table is really solid (when I knocked into the table it did not even shake!!!). Well the only down pt. is the chairs. (Think you understand what I meant). Actually I got it from the Life Story at Genting lane. Think you refer to the newspaper for the weekend you sure to see it. Cheers.
  4. Hi Gerald, Well there are really more benefits for front load than top load, thats why alot of ppl are using front load nowadays. Some examples are: 1. Save water and electricity. 2. Clothes are handled more delicately and more... Anyway, just for your info, today there is a sale for bosch items. Please refer to http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/showthread.php?t=1964180. Today only. Going there now. Happy shopping. ^_^

  10. Well I am currently using the Fujitsu system 3 for my new home. So far so good. Well as for self-cleaning, not too sure if you got hear the comments from the non-Mit salesman, but true to certain extend that because the fin (the moveable part that enables us to clean the internal of the fancoil) has a catch, which in an event where the fin catch is spolit or its not placed properly on the fancoil, it will not be able to be switched on. If the fin is really spolited, then you have to pay about 100+ for the new fin. Also for Fujitsu, it has a fan dry function which enables the "self-cleaning" of the fan-coil. The only other brand (if I am not mistaken) should be MHI. You can go to the aircon shop to clarify. As for choice, I would rather you narrow down between Toshiba (because its made in Japan) or Fujitsu. True to certain extend the current Mit. aircon are 4 years old technology. As one of the salesperson had put it to me ("If the easy clean is so good, then all the other brands will follow and copy this concept") Cheers.
  11. Hi All, just to share my newly purchased dinning table. Cheers..
  12. Hi All, Really have the time of my life just now. I think I did mentioned that because my plumber mentioned that the fab. wall cannot within stand the weight of the storage heater, so he suggested me to get 15L (the smallest). Then just now he came, then he still said that he is still uncomfortable with the weight!!! So never install loh!!! What the ..... So like that made me waste my trip to exchange the heater for nothing!! Now I think i read from somewhere that the BSC Mr. Tan is able to install the heater for us(will find out the thread).
  13. Ya. Buy all my toilet items from Genova also recently (over the past month). Well must say their items are much cheaper then outside. These are the items I have so far purchased over there. Cheers...
  14. Hi Sohbengkuan, How was the heater being installed? As in did they hack a hole in the false ceiling of the toilet, then place the heater at the "real" wall above the false ceiling? Or they just place the heater on the Fab. wall itself? Cheers
  15. Ya loh, cause the water heater uncle also mentioned that its the first time that he had ever heard such a complain/remarks from his customer. Cheers.
  16. Hi All, Referring to blurbug comments, I also have some problem installing the water storage heater, as the plumber said that as our Fab Wall for the toilet max weight is about 10kg, so he advise me to get the 15L, instead of the 35L which I intend to install. So does anyone have this problem? Cause I read from some of the blogs of both St.64 and St.93, majority are using the 25L. I have to go back all the way just to exchange the water storage heater!!! Well anyway, will phone HDB to confirm on this issue later!! Hope to get a good reply from them. Cheers.
  17. Hi All, just wish to share my newly purchased sofa. Really like it alot. Cheers.
  18. Hi Commando, Thanks for the help. Think his heater is same as mine, 15L. This afternoon went to replace the heater, then the uncle selling the storage heater said that this is the first time that he ever heard that cannot install bigger capacity storage heater. Then called the plumber again to ask for the reason. Well found out that the fab. walls for our toilets are actually "cupboard" like, meaning its not as solid as we thought. Well actually my neighbour did mentioned that the instruction menu for our toilet did mentioned that the "dead weight", meaning the max weight that the wall can take is just 10kg!!! (My god!!!) Well will just phone HDB to confirm again tomorrow on this issue!! I think must find a way to at least install the 25L storage heater. Cheers
  19. Hi All, Just like to ask for those who are having the storage heater. Cause my plumber just mentioned that the 35L Joven storage heater is too heavy for our toilet wall. He suggested us to get the 15L instead. So Can I ask does anyone of you here installed the 25? Cause I am thinking of installing the 25L instead. Cheers.
  20. Hi Winner, Care to tell us is your sofa is 1/2 or full leather? Thanks
  21. Hi All, My technician just told me that the newly installed downlight bulb just fused. Just like to confirm with all those who bought their lights from Chelsea Lighting House that though the salesperson promised that the Balast is from Aust, but did he also mentioned where the light bulb is made from?? Cause really angry that the downlight just fused like that after just about 1 week+ after installation. Cheers
  22. Just bought a new set of sofa for my new home last weekend. Hope its a good investment.
  23. Actually for me, I asked about the aircon offer from Cool Serve about 1 mth back, then they were saying they are clearing all the Daikin R22 series (about 30% less), so I mean since you are getting R22, so shouldn't you get it cheaper? And also for the R22, it would only be phase out in 2015 (think saw from somewhere), so the topping up of the R22 gas would not be that ex as compare to R410 (unless you tell me you are going to use your aircon till later than 2015). Cheers ^_^
