don't give stranger ur singpass Since they already know ur mother is sole owner. Tell ur mother don't answer any call, door visit or sign any DOC w/o ur present. Ask urself if a Chinese Indonesian PR just sold their private property, will they go around and advertising themselves. It indicate No agent b'coz they want to take both side commission. But if u plan to do DIY, be prepare a lot of calls from agent.

mine is 1st. He miss the exercise OTP time. But in the end, don't know how he manage to sweet talk until the seller agree to take in the late exercise 2nd, No communication during the whole transaction. We SMS, Email. No reply 3rd, End of the transaction. NO KEY was given. They claim seller didn't give. So not their issue. In the end, we had to ask the property agent to make a copy of key for us 4th, The condo management office don't even know the unit has change owner. Until my spouse shown up at the management office to pay the maintence fee 5th, previous seller didn't return the car park device. Condo Management manager told us. If the seller don't return the device, we need to pay $200+ to get a new device. 6th, Try to charge us GST in their invoice. Luckily I check their invoice before I sign and remember the quotation does not subject to GST. more n more Lesson learn. 1. Use the lawyer that ppl has use before and recommended 2. Check and ensure the person who you interact is a lawyer. Not a business manager or whatever

not truth. You had a choice. Bank has panel of lawyer. You can use your own lawyer and ask the Bank, is your lawyer in their panel? Bank don't dictate which lawyer. Normally your banker will recommend a lawyer to you if you don't have. If you happen to use the lawyer your banker recommended. Your banker has referrer commission

it's common. I had an agent told me above 5th is high floor 2nd floor is low floor. I question her back, so u mean 3rd and 4th floor is middle floor? She keep quiet I encounter a seller agent lie to all buyer agents. ALL. Told buyer agent that this is new listing flat. val not done yet. When all groups of buyer reach the void deck. Buyer agents call her , if she free, she will answer the call. in the end, agents and buyer has to search for the unit. The seller agent even give the wrong floor. Cut the long winded story, we finially found the unit. Wow.. got valuation report which is 1.5mth old. Right on the spot, I told my husband I know which unit liao. The one asking for 80k COV. Condo style reno. The one we don't want to view at all. The seller knock 1 room down, turn it into a WIW and makeup room. I overheard a buyer ask the seller agent (SA). is this a 4rm HDB. SA say "Yes" Buyer ask "Where is the 3rd room" Here come the best part. SA close the glass door which is separate the master bedroom and the makeup room. "Here, 3rd room" I almost laugh on the spot. -

remember to register ur tenant to HDB. thru' words of mouth. Ask around especially foreigner colleague, anyone want to rent a room. I'm thinking of 1 thing. When we register the room tenant to HDB, do we need to declare the room rate? if yes, by end of the year, will IRAS indicate that room rental to be my other income? When we rent out whole unit, the TA always has 2 section of rental. 1 is room rental, 1 is furniture rental. can we do the same for room rental?

Everyone has their preference. Mine. Debt free. Use all the CPF for the HDB for own stay. Since it will be getting harder to see my CPF when I retire. Every few year, will come out new rule , new requirement. -
smurfsing, did you check with other mover. How much will be their quotation. Misc100, base on the TS post, the item is more than that 3 main item. items to move include a 42" LCD which we have the box, 1 coffee table and a 1.8m long TV console. Rest are my kitchen wares which includes a microwave and clothings for a couple. all my loose stuff an extra set of TV speakers which I have a box for it and 2 stacks of plastic drawers, those plastic stacks of 4 drawers each. And TS does not mention the pick up place to drop off place , are they both lift level?

This one still ok. I had a lady agent tell him off by SMSing when my husband told her that her client is asking too high COV 60k for a 30yrs old 4rm HDB flat. mention like the COV is given by the client, I don't set the price. I personally encounter 1 agent. saw the newspaper advertisement, SMS him ask him what is the COV and val. When is the viewing. agent reply" WHO ARE YOU" I reply " a buyer" agent reply "NO NAME" I reply "xxx... <my name>" then he reply sth.. I can't remember what is his reply But all his reply is a CAPITALS. It's so difficult to read the message all in CAPITALS. I SMS him don't use CAPITALS. Agent reply me with message of spider and blu blu.. he like to reply in CAPITALS. Why... cannot .. etc etc. Then scold me wasting his time. Early sat morning mood all spoil by this agent. Why must reply all in CAPITALS Don't he know, that is rude. He should go for a Email etiquette class -
