I ordered a Honeywell air purifier after being caught with my pants down. Girl is coughing a bit currently due to the haze :angry2:

And 2 carbon pre-filters.

Will need a transformer when it comes.

wah seh, need so much? I bought a 100W newstar transformer yesterday from challenger.

Should be enough for the smaller 17000.

Here's the power usage at the highest setting:

Honeywell 17000N - 80 watt

Ur air purifier may stop suddenly due to insufficient power...that thing uses quite a bit of power...

that's why i bought a small only bedroom size one. As above, someone on amazon measured max power of the little thing. The bigger model can apparently easily hit 170 watts.

Thanks.

Where to get 250W transformer anyway? SLT?

Here you go, do the safety precaution like me. The yellow part is a piece of folded paper I put in there, to avoid anyone accidentally switch to wrong input voltage.

many thanks !!

Ok so confirm that input means the voltage from the socket. So selected @ 220v -> will step down to 110v.

Yes i read about the maid switching the switch accidentally hehe.
