mmm played more. Today's Friday so I can do what I like without worrying about work tomorrow. hehe In both pictures there is a divider thingy. It can be made from string curtain, bead curtain, bamboo planter/divider or a simple shelf-like thing. It's to shield the dining area from the main door. This way I think it leaves a larger area in front of the bedroom doors so that it doesn't seem so cramp to get to the bedrooms.. I myself.. prefer to put the dining in the kitchen though. haha mmm also I was thinking if the half heigh shoe cabinet isn't enough you can add one full height ones behind the door near the bottom of the picture.. lalala

I glad you feel the same. When we were deciding, I was worried as at that time there were fewer forummers taking him up... in fact only Native at that time so I wasn't sure if I would go without all the black and white. Uncle was the sort who worked on the basis of trust and integrity... But now I'm so glad we took the "risk" then cos he is true to his word and my parents really like him a lot. I do hope he gets back to you soon.

hi pridilaw! hehe I think if you pick white colour worktop and white/off white floor tiles it should look fine. I know what you mean about neutral colours... more soothing and makes it easier to match other stuff too.
