Hey Alyssa... Ahh ok. That's get a useful thing for corridor units... mm I never knew they had that. MMm It's only the glass backing? It's very easy and clean to put up. You guys can already move in before it is put up. I moved in before my stainless steel went up actually. If there are dirtier rectifications...then better not. Congrats on moving in soon!

Condo Reno Vs Hdb Reno
pinkpetter replied to shingirl's topic in RENOVATION IDEAS: Interior Design Themes, Space Planning
mm shingirl.. it's highly possible. Since people who own private are known to be "richer" and can afford to be "chopped". The only advice is to get someone honest. -
mmm yup with grouting it definitely looks much better. It doesn't look like it's jutting out..

Cabinets should be ok since there is a base... but it'll be very very dusty all over again. poor apples. But thankfully it's discovered now and going to be rectified now... at least Uncle is keeping to the quality. Think Uncle is getting new workers to help with the workload so he has to scrutinise some of their work esp if it's their first time working for him. Wonder if apples' are new.

How Much To Renovate Kitchen And 2 Toilets?
pinkpetter replied to goodman123's topic in RENOVATION WORKS
eh eh eh it can go anywhere from immediate to one week to one month and never-never land. depends on how busy the person is. -
concrete supports = the ones with the hob and sink? haha you're so excited.. checking on them twice a day!
-
WAHHH it looks very cool!! Will that be the wall where the TV will be? nvm.. you have a spanking new house to live in soon so must be happy!!
-
whahah YES exactly my favourite parts too!! Love your glass bathroom and the counter top for your kitchen!! Like I was asking Smallboy... May I know what surface you use for your counter? What brand is it?
-
Wow in just one hour they took down so many things... Are you going hack the concrete supports?
-
... no choice ba. hopefully the rectifications wouldn't be too dusty for you.
-
omg.. make some noise and have the approval done faster? Why do they need 3 weeks?? I hate it when they delay stuff.. poor you. Then your renovation process has to be lengthened then??
-
WAH it sounds cool. Esp the reduction of calories part. haha It probably means that it'll be hard for things to be burnt too right? Good for first timers really. Nice buy! In this case I guess placing it near the W/M is ok ba

I didn't see so many nice mosaics at Sin Lek.. mm Maybe I was too tired that day. Urgh Wah I'm glad you guys liked DK Lighting too. I was also drawn by their price and their service. The husband and wife are so polite, esp the wife whom I found very sweet. haha YES The passageway light is the light I love most also. Uncle Soon kept playing with it after it was installed. When he brought people to my house he would turn on this light for them to see. *faints* lol Like you, I was totally staring at the black crystal ones... I actually wanted it for my room. wahaha. So when are you moving in? Or have you already?

Metal: haha I think I will be the first to construct a beam when everyone's asking if they can hack down theirs!! My mom did ask the same question also.. but I just ignored her. The dryer itself does not cost a lot but the electrical bills will go sky high. Anything that emits heat is in the Power Supply's list of top ten energy wasting appliances.. mmm You just reminded me about that heat thing.. Guess I have to take that into consideration when I plan too.

Wah so peaceful looking... no kitchen photos??? What about their MBR toilet I love so much? lol
-
GASPS... so it's going to take 5 weeks???
-
Yup can install sliding windows... casement ones depend on approval. I agree on treating the bro invisible part. That's what we've been doing.. just that sometimes we decide to be kind and leave the window for him... and it backfires on us. LIke the time when his entire room got wet. We nearly killed him for it. Nvm nvm I asked Uncle to keep more for me. I think he will also drop by today or tomorrow so I'll ask him to keep more and I'll pass yours to you if there is ok? haha Cos other houses might use yours anyway so there might be quite a bit.
-
haha yes it's probably the quieter works which is why the tiler is allowed to do. Carpentry is very noisy you know.. Aubrey... I'm parking here waiting for photos..........
-
  Don't be envious... we spent the last week reporting at 6.30 every morning to scan everyone walking through the gates... thankfully the flu alert is now down back to yellow. And for the rest of the days this week I'm working from 7.00-6.30... so today is just the calm before the storm.
-
I'm curious about the water oven... what is that?? *swakoo*
-
Ahhh now I see. Your surface top is of better quality so that it can fold so nicely! Just one last question.. is it plain grey? or with specks? A well planned kitchen is one of the most important parts of the house... to keep the entire house beautiful and clean... So happy that you guys did it!
-
mm thanks for the suggestion.. will present that option to my parents. Usually we're quite diligent in closing the windows before we go out... Only my bro cannot be trusted to do that.. I'm afraid that neighbours upstairs will throw water down and the water will come in through the window. mmm hehehhe Tell you all something... I have a project at work that requires Mosaic tiles... and I just called Uncle to keep all the remaining mosaics from your places for me! haha Otherwise if I buy I have to pay from my own pocket and it'll cost me at least $200+
-
got got.. the English quote. You just tell Uncle that you're going to take a loan and he will arrange.
-
lol don't be jealous la... Workers who are willing to work on PH and Sundays are very few... cannot spread them around so many hours... oh ya. growler, I'm the one who went to kaypoh your blog and leave comments. haha

How Much To Renovate Kitchen And 2 Toilets?
pinkpetter replied to goodman123's topic in RENOVATION WORKS
Ah? sorry sorry for the confusion. I hacked the kitchen flooring and retiled. As for the walls, we cemented over the wall tiles and now i have a cemented wall lor. tileless walls.
