SIGHHHHHH technically... it has barely started. In order for HDB to process the purchase, we have to respond to their letter. But in order to respond, we need our lawyers to retrieve the mortgage from bank, obtain approval from bank that they are letting us buy, and the lawyers write in to HDB to tell them that Bank approves for us to buy and that we want to buy... AND meanwhile, I need to get my contractor... to call power supply and SCV and what not.. to ask them where they want all their stuff to be moved to, indicate it on a floor plan and submit it. All these BEFORE my purchase is processed. So that was what I was calling Ah Soon about.

As always. Tio Toto is high up on my wishlist.

Oh I didn't chip in to this paint talk. I had a mix of Nippon and Jotun cans in my house. As most of you know, I was on block leave then and my father (who's very free) and I came to the house every day during the reno. I had one big nippon one which had the words that implied it was a sealant.. that was for my kitchen and balcony... Initially I had one pot for the kitchen only then after much nagging from my dad, two pots appeared. These looked brand new and came sealed. Then I had jotun and nippon paint pots. But to be honest.. even the nippon paint pots looked like they were recycled cans. Anyway as long as the house turned out the way we wanted... VERY WHITE... I really didn't bother. I suspect my dad did though.

Nope he won't! never never never. haha mm that's amazing. I think I don't even have every single colour. Just tried calling Ah Soon to ask about the application status of my recess. But he didn't answer. I reckon he's with one of you. LOL Shall wait for him to return call.. **edit** he just returned call (he usually returns my calls)... and the call lasted all of 28 seconds. He's learning to talk even faster now.

I can imagine! mm My mom wants this turning thing.. I can't rem the chinese name. In big temples in Taiwan and China they have this turning thing with teachings carved on them. The cylinders keep turning throughout the day. My Mom saw a miniature frosted glass version in someone's house and now insists that someone must buy it and cart it back from TW for her.. it's 60kg.
