that desperated id sounds like selling cheap 3d- that come with lemon law, not selling renovation service. -
for anyone WHOM making 3D a FOC item, look! you are killing the designer! if you really mean 3D FOC, prove it by giving away free without COMMITMENT then i say As such, it should be very clear to you that there is NO Free 3D in this world

Inorder to create one 3D view, it takes One working day to draft and One morning to Render in the computer- That has yet count in the time for design idea, i would say it takes another half a day if that does count in. How much do you think a good 3D designer worth a day? If they can provide you free means they are getting new designer to produce what you think you are getting, cut/ copy & paste is always a short cut in this world. How many people will believe you, that i don't know, but i know there are bunch of professional out there do agreed with me & my saying.

You have to understand why some branded sanitaryware able to provide 50% sales discount, means their profit are more than 50 ah... there are max end user discount & designer discount so it wouldn't be bad when your ID are able to ask for you the max end user discount and let them cover their time spend shopping with you, giving you their experienced advise to save your precious time--- you are not going to get their market designer discount from the shop anyway, so why not let them do their job by asking discount for you sametime, win win situation

Hi poem, are you looking for ID to design your house and do not want them to mark up price from other suppliers? you may reflect to them to ask them to charge you a design fee, 3D drawing fee, and remember to ask them what other service their company able to provide other than marking up from other supplier and sell it to you. i'm sure they will be more than happy to tell you the detail and make your renovation even easier. You are Right, Balestier is a good place for renovation sourching, what myself like about that place is that there are many tiles supplier gather which is so much time saving, easy to compare for selection

of my best experience, averagely 2 out of Ten LED are default, you will have to buy atlease 3 for spare or prepare to go back to JB for exchanging. ensure getting 2 years product warranty cause LED might defaultly dimmed after usage, you will have to go back JB in anyway. it is best to buy them in local if the different are not alot...what will happened if you buy it in China?

Yes much higher, selection of these tile has to be very becareful, check with tile supplier the installation method and ensure tiler get the message, thickness of the adhersive is important, grouting brand has to be right. of coz you can choose to use normal application so to save cost, but quality will appeal differently.

you can purchase anti-slip chemical, take 5mins to apply on floor to let it dry up by itself and it will last for 5 years. Lian Seng Hin in Balestier Rd selling that before, you may check with them.

it is not simple job to remove the old grouting, this should be the calculation: 2 workers x 2 days work= $600, to stick masking tap before re-grouting, to apply expensive grouting= $400, $200 for his arrangement with guarantee to your expectation. Total: $1200. Ask yourself, will you take the risk to take up this job if you are that contractor? i don't think there is another contractor who will take up this job, but if you are willing to DIY, then this is a very expensive quote.- just my 2 cents
