around 6 wks after submission of OTP.. tat the norm.. and another 6 wks between 1st appt and 2nd appt..can request HDB officer to speed up and shorten the time lag between 1st and 2nd appt but that one not confirm..they can't promise you

This happen in my mother's place. The wall in one of that bedroom between us and the neighbouring unit is damp.. this only happen recently..and only at night.. My mother suspect that our neighbour is blasting their A/C which causes the damp wall.. Can this happen??? We just got a new neighbour..haa maybe the old neighbour dont have A/C so no such problem at all.. =p I only know wall that happen to be an external wall can be damp if there is water leakage due to "holes" between bricks but due to A/C from neigbouring unit??? Any idea???

Went to singapore expo and came across this booth - west point design. The sofa look very gd and the price is reasonable too.. the uncle told me they dont operate a retail shop as they are manufacturers for furniture. Anyone know abt them? anyone buy from them before?

Where is the best place to buy mattress??? Individual brand showroom or furniture shop? or there are some shops that specialize in selling mattress??

Anyone heard of smooth leather?? the salesman told me it is not 100% real leather but it is a mixture.. they call it treated leather.. water resistance ( he pour coffee and wipe it off on a white sofa) and fire resistance ( he try to burn it with his lighter). The leather is very smooth and comfortable..but i am not sure it will trap heat as i only sit on the sofa for 15 mins.. The salesman also mention that real leather need to maintain like using leather solution to wipe it etc.. this sort of treated leather just use clean cloth and wipe can liao.. any comments?

It is pretty common for the white rubber to turn mouldy at the bottom due to always come in contact with water. My mother change it to black rubber. Although it look kinda werid.. white frame with black rubber around it but it solve the mouldy problem.
