  1. TOYOGO warehouse sells them but I dont know the price as I was not looking at this item. Just went there today.
  2. IKEA does sell the rings with the clip. I asked my contractor to buy the 6mm diameter stainless steel water pipe and fixed them up using IKEA curtain brackets for the rooms and also from Spotlight for my living as my living is very long. 6mm diameter will fit into the IKEA bracket - no choice. My curtains are already the silver eye-let type and it turned out great (in my opinion). My contractor charged me a total of $50 for all 5 pipes, dimensions are (he measured and cut for me to the exact length) - living - 387mm study - 288mm master bedroom - 237mm bedroom 2 - 317mm bedrom 3 - 266mm They are all delivered in 1 single piece per room and I dont have to join, unlike the IKEA curtain rod where you have to extend to the legnth you want andthe sliding effect is not smooth at the extension. I used 3 brackets per room and the above dimension are wall to wall to have the high ceiling effect (my curtain length from from ceiling to floor, +/- 1-2cm).
  3. I just called and she is charging $28 per piece for stretching the canvas She says it's ex as it is stretched by human effort, not machine. Does anyone has a cheaper lobang? does not matter if stretch by machine.

  5. Thanks for the tip. http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_U...re_hangers/game I guess you are talking abt this one.
  6. Does anyone know a good and cheap place to frame up my kid's canvas painting (using acrylic paint) ? I dont want any frames, ie frameless....just need that wooden frame to frame the painting. Art Friend does sell some wooden frame but I am not confident to stretch the canvas and staple it down. somewhere central is good. I have 10 pieces. Also, how to stick them on the wall without using nails? not sure if double sided tape is a good idea...moreover we may want to change her 'art gallery' as more paintings come in... thanks.
  7. polish first else the polishing will introduce the wooddust into the wardrobe during polishing. u r talking abt polishing parquet, right?
  8. Yeah, when I first did my window shopping, i saw the price tag on poh seng and i immediately walked out. when i finally did my shopping, luckily i asked poh seng before I almost bought my things next door at GR Link and found Poh Seng cheaper.

  17. NOt sure if this is the right place to post but I cant find another suitable place. Appreciate feedback on the above 2 movers. Thanks.
  18. I am choosing between Mission Land (as Helping Hands are not available on my move date) and 138 Professional Movers. In terms of price, it is about the same. Mission Land does not charge me deposit for boxes while 138 charges $1 per box refundable upon return. I think Mission Land will use locals while 138 will use Bangladesh workers. Any feedback for Mission Land? They also have the same purpose as Helping Hands.
  19. as long as you have not installed it, you can always change your mind. i too had the stainless steel backsplash quoted on my contract but have told him i will not use it. offset from final price.
