Thanks for your reply... oh dear that doesn't sound good, are they going to help you rectify the problem? We're looking at bedroom sets cos less headache to think of how to match all furniture in the same room etc. What is considered low end? Based on price...? sorry asking a lot of qns cos me still noob le haha~ Thanks in advance~

Hi forgotten, any review on the stuff you got from beds.sg? Their bedroom sets are exactly the same as what i saw in a furniture shop @ ifc...

You mean that neigbhour keeps trying to wash the floor with water? They're quite "yim jim" also lor... Oh I will be moving there haha... That's why camping in renotalk and looking for contractor now will be near the market... and my frens have told me about the bak ku teh they used to frequent there when they stayed at the polyclinic area~ I am trying to find contractor near our area but seems like there is no highly recommended contractor in the west side? strange isn't it? *scratch head*

Actually if one is not pantang... it may even be a good idea to reno during 7th month, since typically less pple are doing reno, and hence contractors may have more time to focus on your house... You're right, you'll have to consider other family members' preference too...
-
Haha i guess so, else it is really difficult to argue that you cause 2-floor below's neighbour's problem. Oh we'll be neigbhours btw, finally saw your photos now (in office cannot see), the c/toilet tiles were really quite bad... glad that your contractor will rectify the problem

Hi, would you pm me the contact of your contractor? Thanks! -
i've been using a billy for a few years... W60 x H106 with one extension on top. The entire case is full of books... so far so good. actually even if you custom-made one, shelf with longer width will still warp if you dun put additional support at the middle of the plank.

hmmm correct me if i'm wrong, i guess TS misunderstood the meaning of "contra". it is the "no co-broke" practices of some agents that TS has an issue with. contra - the procedures involved when an existing HDB owner needs to use the sale proceed and refunded CPF monies from his current flat to finance the next resale HDB that he is buying (using HDB loans). In contra cases, agents can still co-broke. http://www.hdb.gov.sg/fi10/fi10321p.nsf/w/...CF?OpenDocument co-broke - buyer agent deals with seller agent - bepgof already explained above. these 2 are some classic examples when agents say "no co-broke"....
